I will try to shorten this horrible experience. I gave birth on June 21st 2007. At st. Agnes hospital Dr. Flores let me push for over 3hours. Then said he had to take me in for a c-section. However he aloud my nurse to rule over him and insisted I push my baby out. When the anesthesiologist accidentally gave me a little to much of the epidural. So I could not push and kept trying but wasn’t making any improvements. Which meant the only other option was to give me an Episiotomy. Which was HORRIBLE this muscle shouldn’t be cut into. Horrible recovery and he never stitched me correctly as I was to swollen. When I complained at my 6-8 week check up I was told I was fine. When clearly I only had a think piece of skin separating my vagina from my anus. Fast forward 10 year later I am told my next Obgyn when pregnant again I have a pelvic prolapse which looked like a tumor coming out of me. All from never being stitch right and walking, lifting, caring my babies just doing life .
I meant Dr. Myra Ortega 19 years ago when she delivered my son. She continues to be my GYN and is the best . If you are looking for a GYN that is personable, friendly, and just a loving person I highly recommend Dr. Ortega.
