Regina Wu

Dr. Wu has been my physician for 15 years or so. I followed her to her new location in Westwood. I have always found her to be very knowledgeable and an extremely competent physician. She is also very caring and helped my husband and I deal with his elderly mother as her health declined and we needed to place her. She is a good listener and I would highly recommend her as a physician.

I started seeing Dr Wu in 2020 during the pandemic as it was time for me to find a doctor that was an advocate for my health. Dr Wu had come recommended by a few other women in my town and she has been amazing. In the year + that I have been seeing her, she has been 100% responsive and supportive. I came to her with a pre-existing condition that prior to that hadn't been addressed fully and she immediately made referrals and got me on track. Dr. Wu understands the whole person; she listens, is accessible, and is very caring - I feel you don't see this as often anymore... As a woman in my late 40s (uy!) I feel 100% she is my advocate and partner in my health journey and I can't recommend her enough.

I went in with a concern and I have an underlying disease which I believe was the factor to my concern and she completely blew it off and only focused on one thing which wasn’t a factor. She seemed rushed and high strung with zero empathy. When I tried speaking she would talk over me and not let me explain anything. I don’t know how she has so many good reviews because I truly feel like I saw someone completely different. She was unprofessional and dismissive with horrible bedside manner. I wouldn’t recommend her to my worst enemy. I love going to BWH but she truly tarnished their reputation.

Dr. Wu has been my PCP for about two decades now and I could not have asked for a better professional to oversee my health. Along with her genuine interest in how I am doing, she is incredibly skilled at determining the best route for my medical issues, always expresses sincere compassion and concern, takes time to truly listen to my worries, and is clearly invested in my good health. She is also humble enough to admit when she is unsure of the next step, and to then refer me to the correct specialist to carry out a medical plan. Though I have had a myriad of health issues since birth, I credit my overall good health to Dr. Wu. She has done everything in her power to keep me going, and I could not be more thankful for her!

I credit Dr. Wu with saving my life. Dr. Wu picked up on an abnormality in a blood test which resulted in my cancer diagnosis at a very early stage. My doctors at Dana Farber told me that Dr. Wu's early diagnosis was critical in my continued cancer remission; that was 12 years ago. Thank you, Dr. Wu, you are the best. I have referred Dr. Wu to many of my friends and my wife when they have been pursuing a new primary care doctor.

Dr.Wu has been my primary care doctor for nearly twenty years and it is my pleasure to highly recommend her! She is timely, caring, competent, thorough, and a great listener. I feel well taken care of and lucky to be Dr. Wu’s patient, as do several of my family members. Beautiful new facility with easy access and parking.

5 stars isn’t enough for Dr Wu...she is a terrific doctor because she is compassionate, honest, smart, and thorough! She will leave no rock unturned I followed her from her last practice and would do the same again

Dr. Wu is the absolute BEST! She is kind, caring, considerate, knowledgeable and approachable. She explains things in a very clear way. Visits with her never feel rushed. She is efficient and always on time. I love seeing her for appointments. Being with her is like being with an old friend. Highly recommend her!

Dr Wu has been my primary care physician for many years at Dedham Medical Associates. I am very sad she has left DMA for Brigham and Womens. I wish I could have followed her; she does not accept my insurance. But I do wish her the best because she is the BEST!

Just had my annual checkup with Dr. Wu. As always, she did a thorough checkup, followed up on my specific health issues, and took the time to ask me about how I was otherwise doing and how my family was doing. I think she is a wonderful doctor and will be following her to her new practice at Brigham Health in Westwood when she moves there in April.

Dr. Wu is a great primary care doctor. She always sees me when needed and responds promptly when emailed. I have some complex medical issues and she takes them all into account and finds the right specialists when needed.

I have been see ing Dr Wu for 17 years. She has always been caring, professional and knowledgeable. Takes the time to ask and answer questions. Does not keep me waiting more than a few minutes. Has called me with test results and treatments. I travel 30 miles to see her and it is worth the effort. Would not to go anywhere else. She is the best.

Dr. Wu is kind, knowledgeable, thorough, patient and responsive. I credit her for saving my mother's life by recognizing some subtle signs of illness and sending her for more testing. As a result, my mother's ovarian cancer was detected before it had spread beyond her abdomen, and seven years later, she is still with us. I was so impressed, in fact, that I left my longtime PCP and became a patient of Dr. Wu.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wu for many years. She is always willing to listen as I have had many serious family issues throughout the years. She always checks out what other providers have done and makes sure that I follow through with tests etc.

Dr. Wu has been my primary care doctor for close to 20 years and I have always found her to be caring, patient and very thorough. Over the years, if I needed a specialist, I found she always referred me to someone equally has professional and qualified. I have referred her to my family and friends since I am so confident in her care.

Dr Wu is the best Dr! I have referred her to my daughter,my sister and friends. She is kind, patient, and professional. She shows genuine concern when you have a problem. She follows up and follows through. I have numerous medical problems and she is always on top of which dr I see for what. She truly is my life saver. If she were to leave the practice she is on right now, I would follow her to wherever she went! I can’t say enough about her.

Dr. Regina Wu is caring, thorough, gentle and a terrific physician, in my opinion one of the best at Dedham Medical.

I have seen many doctors over the last 50 years at Dedham Medical Associates and Dr. Wu has been my PCP there for the last 18 of them. She is easy to talk with and, not only listens to your concerns but, actually includes you in determining your care strategy. When necessary, she has referred me to excellent specialists and always follows up in a timely manner. I would recommend her to anyone. She is terrific!

Dr Wu is very nice and personable, but she dismisses concerns too readily. I had obvious symptoms of a major illness which she disregarded as I returned to her complaining of the symptoms multiple times. I was finally referred to a specialist, who easily diagnosed it. Because it took so long to get the diagnosis It was too late for treatment. I am not a hypochondriac, in fact I'm more the opposite, I only seek treatment when I am very ill. Due to my experiences I wouldn't recommend this doctor.

I recently had to change my primary care doctor as mine had moved on to another location. I was concerned about obtaining one that I liked as much as my former PCP. Dr. Wu is more than I had expected. She is so personable, warm, and caring. She ALWAYS gets back to me sooner than anyone I've had in the past. She is tops! and I would highly recommend to her anyone, as I did with my husband (who was very pleased as well).
