About Refat Baridi
Reviews for Refat Baridi
This Doctor has been reliant and helpful throughout my treatment, of course there might be late for your appointments, look at the room and see how busy he is????♂️That’s due to his clientel who come back to see him period…. As well his PA Ella????????????
Spends no time with patients. Just in it for the $$$$, doesn’t actually care and has his PA’s do all the work and treat patients. Run like your life depends on it!
Wouldn’t trust him to treat my dog.
I find Dr. Baridi to be an excellent doctor. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
Great doctor. Very happy with my visit. Will come back soon!
Great doctor would highly recommend.
Great Doc! Thanks for all the help
One of the Best Doctors.Highly recommend
FIND ANOTHER ONCOLOGIST! The first thing this “doctor” said to us was “which one is the wife and which one is the girlfriend” as my mother, my dad, and myself were waiting terrified in the doctor’s office. We should of got up and walked out the door right then. We had just found out my dad had widespread stage 4 metastatic melanoma. He explained to us we would be starting treatment right away, and then informed us that since he sees so many patients he would put a PA (Physician’s Assistant) over our case. This is a nurse. The PA’s are great – but they are not oncology doctors. This is who you will see at everyone of your appointments. Over 10 months, we saw the oncologist 3 times for a total of less than an hour. The first time meeting him was the longest, then maybe 5-10 minutes the other two times to go over some PET results. Of all of the times we were at the office I saw him actually there once outside of those times. The PA’s run the show. Many times I wanted to switch doctor’s but my dad’s HMO made it extremely difficult. My dad was put on targeted therapy medications that worked wonderful at combating the cancer, but were warned through our own research they work for a short period of time, and the cancer would need to be monitored closely. June my dad had a clear PET. The end of September the radiologist reported activity in areas of his bones – and stated evidence of active metastasis on the PET scan report. The second time we saw Dr. Baridi he came in and asked my dad to jump up and down to determine if he had cancer in his hips. Seriously. My dad jumped up and down, and he then stated he didn’t think my dad had bone cancer and he disagreed with the radiologist report! He said it was lighting up on the report due to inflammation. Inflammation in the bones??? I pleaded for additional testing to rule out active cancer, and was told since he wasn’t having constant pain in the bone areas and they weren’t seeing lesions on the scan, that it wasn’t bone cancer, even though the radiologist was saying it was. I then pleaded for a second opinion and a referral to see another doctor so we could get another interpretation if there was active cancer, and if so, then what treatment we should switch to. I was denied the referral by Dupage Medical Group – stating they would only issue a referral if Dr. Baridi agreed there was nothing more he could do for him. Well it was active cancer, Dr. Baridi was wrong, and the cancer came back quickly and destroyed by dad’s body before there was any chance of switching to another treatment such as immunotherapy. If he would of taken action back in September like he should of, things could have ended up differently for my father. I couldn’t be more disgusted by the treatment of this doctor. Now my dad is dead. If you value your life, PLEASE FIND ANOTHER ONCOLOGIST! FIND ANOTHER ONCOLOGIST! The first thing this “doctor” said to us was “which one is the wife and which … More
