I have been a patient for over 10 yrs and Dr. Farinas is truly a fantastic doctor and person. I would highly recommend this practice!

Don't be a patient here if you have mood swings, otherwise they may drop you as a patient. This doctor and the office staff are ill-equipt to deal with mood disorders and emotional trauma. As a transgender woman on hormone therapy, I highly recommend seeking help elsewhere if you are like me.

Wouldn’t recommend. I posted how I felt but they had it removed from google. Disrespectful place, money hungry, don’t care about clients depression just want you to pay unnecessary fees & therapist just tells you a bunch of stuff she read from a book 20 years ago. Spend your money elsewhere. The only reason they have good reviews is because the bad ones don’t get shown.

If I could give a negative star, I would! She was great in the beginning and after a few visits, she was extremely moody and rude. Made a big deal about a personal issue I had and basically told me I was stupid for feeling that way. When I said something, she then refused to schedule anymore. Real professional. Don't trust her!

Dr Farinas has provided excellent treatment for my daughter. She is compassionate and caring and I’d highly recommend her.

Dr. Farinas is one of the best physicians I've ever had and I am so luck to have found her.

Dr. Farinas cares about her patients first and foremost. She works hard and after hours . She listens to what the patients have to say and makes informed decisions. She HEARS YOU. Dr. Farinas does not make arbitrary decisions. She is frank and sometimes, brutally honest, so if you cannot take honesty, do not go to see her. If you want the truth, quality care, and up to date treatment of the mind , body and spirit, this is the doctor for you.

Amazing. Cares about who she treats. Knows what she is talking about and tells it like it is.

One of the best physicians I've ever dealt with, and I'm an RN. As a psychiatrist, she spends ample time with her patients, and is current on all new research that is published. I can't recommend her enough.

Dr. Farinas treated my daughter when she was a teen with several issues and later treated myself and my husband for our own issues. As others pointed out Dr. Farinas cares about her patients, takes the time to understand their issues, triggers, goals etc. and listens when you advise you don't like a medication or plan of treatment. She's very experienced and quite skilled at her profession which only cements your trust in her more solidly. I've seen a few other psychiatrists in town and taken my kids to a few of them as well and I personally feel she's one of the best psychiatrists if not THE BEST in town. I'm not sure where my family would be without her patience (i had to rely on her flexibility at times), perseverance and extremely capable guidance. She's no longer in our insurance network so I personally no longer see her but she's well worth the price for those in my family who continue to see her and I'm not one who usually pays higher costs for out of network providers. We owe our sanity to Dr. Farinas. My son, who is a child with severe ADHD, was being suspended in kindergarten for behavior. Dr. Farinas explained to the school repeatedly what ADHD means for kids like my son. (It's not a kid with a lot of energy. Sheesh.). Finally, with months of hard work and hand holding, we got an IEP that addresses my son's needs. He is thriving with the support of his IEP team at school now. Thank you, Dr. Farinas, for helping the school understand our son!
