Ms. Rebecca Maria Carroll

She works in the VA as a counselor and is not good at her job. She’s a social worker — not a therapist. We don’t get to choose our providers in the VA so I got stuck with Rebecca as my therapist. She told me about all the wonderful groups and therapies available in the VA — like she wanted to dump me off on someone else. I told her my situation and that I really wanted talk therapy right now. She wasn’t a much of a listener and talked more than me. She looked at the computer screen and seldom made eye contact. She didn’t seem interested or like she even cared. She ignored me. I told her saw her for about 6 months — maybe 8 times and she was useless — no help at all. I got aggravated and quit going to her. Maybe that’s why she’s not in private practice — she’d have to earn her pay.

Not exactly professional. Poor group facilitator. Unorganized. Talks about herself and her dog.
