Dr. SIMONSON was very kind and professional

Great visit. Thourough, patient, and timely.

This was my first visit with Dr. Simonson. She asked the right questions. She was respectful of my body and my feelings. We discussed possible next steps and the pros and cons of each. I had a great experience and would recommend her to other women.

The staff is so rude and unprofessional. Left 3 messages to get MRI results and no responses. The staff , Brittney and Cathy kept asking for the same questions and went over the same verification process for 30 minutes each times. No wonder why they have such a low ratings!

I quit this doc finally. She is always late, sometimes an hour. Doesn’t send prescription refills on time. And her read of my mammogram was very different from another doc.

Dr. Simonson is my doctor for a year now. During the first visit, I had a feeling that she cared about my overall health, not only specific problems related to her domain. When I needed to message and ask a question between visits, I got the answer the same day.

I started seeing Dr. Simonson when I first moved to Manhattan in the mid 2000's. I got pregnant in late 2010 and my husband and I were very new to this experience. Dr. Simonson was amazing every step of the way. We ended up moving to Pittsburgh, PA when I was about 25 weeks along, but I really wished that she could have delivered my baby. The Pittsburgh group I ended up with were not as patient or kind. We moved back to NYC in 2015 and I recently started going back. She is just as great as she was before (we are all just a little older). I have had my two kids now and I don't plan on anymore, but I am glad to be part of her practice again. Strike 3. 1- I was sent to the ER while pregnant for antibiotics for a UTI that I never actually had. My urine was accidentally switched with someone else's so I spent an entire weekend in the hospital on an IV for nothing. -$300 2- the staff is very rude and incompetent. No messages actually make it to the doctor. They are not effective or timely. -time 3- dr told me to return in 4 weeks and when I do be sure to take the glucose test, which is over an hour long (don't eat or drink before hand, sit there for an hour after drinking a gross drink, give 5 vials of blood)... I do all of this, for NOTHING! She informs me afterwards that it was too soon to do the test and will have to redo it all in a couple weeks. -$$ and time Find a different office with a different staff completely! I have been going to Dr. Simonson for years and at this point I am ready to leave. I find myself continuously frustrated with the office staff and their lack of communication. I once waited an entire month for Dr. Simonson to call me back. I called several times, left numerous messages with her staff and finally asked if I had to show up at the office in order to receive a returned phone call. I also made the point of asking what if I was dying?! She finally called me back, but I did not appreciate the lack of consideration or attention I was given. I also have some mensuration issues that she has never really taken the time to figure out what the cause is. In my opinion, she has a lazy staff and too many patients to the point where she cannot give any one of them the attention they need to feel like they are being taken care of properly.
