An x ray discovered a spiculated nodule on lung. Doctor followed up with cT san adn said to wait three months for a cT scan. I waited, but had to beg than argue with his assistant to order the PT Scan. This was just following doctor's orders. He told me to go to surgeon to have it removed with non-invasive procedure called VATS. Had he looked at my chart, he would have seen I had a prior lung operation which means surgeons have to take whole lobe. Also, ee failed to remember (or check my chart) to monitor nodule on right lung, which thankfully disappeared. We both agreed I am not going back to him for sure.

Dr. Caparros, is exactly what is wrong with our Health System in the United States. I was scheduled today to meet this doctor for a Follow up from Urgent Care, In order to get back to work, I need to be cleared by a Pulmonologist. This is part of a workers comp claim due to Chlorine Inhalation Poisoning. At the time the appointment was scheduled, they were made aware it was for workers comp. I went there and filled out paperwork then was told he wouldn’t see me! Why? Private Insurance pays more
