Dr. Topp was practical, knowlegdable and compassionate. We had visited over a half dozen different doctors for my daughter's back pain/problems. Dr. Topp was hands down the best.

Dr Topp did a block procedure on my neck to stop pain. After the procedure my pain is worse than when I originally saw him. I left a message stating my pain but have yet to get a callback. My follow-up appt is with another Dr, not Topp. Horrible experience !!!!

Starting in January of 2014 I kept having pain in my shoulder that would not go away along with numbness from my elbow down. I saw a doctor who said I needed to have some of my ribs removed I quickly ran away. I tried to see other doctors who refused to see me because they thought I just wanted pain medication. My uncle suggested I go to Southern Orthopedics because his friend works there Now granted this is early August at this time. They took x-rays and the doctor came back in with Dr. Topp. He introduced us and said nothing was wrong with my shoulder, it was all my neck. Dr. Topp told me the discs in my neck were so herniated that they could see them on the x-ray, espically my C5 and C6. We were going to try PT, but he doubt it would work. He didn't want to do surgery because I was still in my 20's and he had never heard of anyone my age who had to have this surgery. I didn't make it through one PT session. I called to schedule the surgery. The day of the surgery he made me feel very comfortable. I remember waking up thinking something was wrong because I wasn't in any pain AT ALL!! Not to mention I could feel my arm. At my last Post-op appointment, we did another MRI and ALL of my disc were how they were supposed to be. My sister had back surgery byDr. Topp in April of 2014. During recovery room time, she started bleeding internally which made her blood pressure drop drastically. They had to take her back to surgery to fix it. Since her brain was deprived of oxygen, she has had extreme short-term memory problems. She also had fainting issues the week after surgery & had to go back to surgery to repair issue. 5 years later she still has problems with her back & definitely her memory. I Broke my ankle and tibia bone with 13-15 fracture's and was in and out of surgery quickly. I'm recovering faster than I exspected. Great team of care.i would highly recommend Doctor Topp to anyone

Dr. Topp performed a spinal fusion on my L5 and S1. He and his staff were amazing. They answered every question and took great care of me. I will refer him and his staff to everyone.

I have had two spinal surgeries preformed by Dr. Topp and have been under his care for over two years. I have never come across a surgeon of his caliper or expertise. His diagnosis, treatment and aftercare have been textbook perfect. He spends the time with you to answer any and all questions you might have in terms anyone can under stand. He is both an exceptional doctor and surgeon that I would highly recommend to anybody without exception. I was in a bad accident in January and was in Extreme pain until my attorney referred me to Dr Topp. His MA Nicole is Angel from Heaven because she goes OVER AND BEYOND for the patients. After my surgery I had a Very Hard Time but Nicole made sure I was taken care of even by going to the pharmacy herself and Made Sure they filled it. Dr Topp and his assistant are both very Friendly and took Great care of me. Dr. Topp is nice. I was to have back surgery and when I went for pre-op visit i was told I needed to pay $800, which I had understood to be "a" hundred. It was a misunderstanding, the problem being that I was treated very rudely and extremely embarrassed IN THE LOBBY! Now I don't know what to do because I'm in alot of pain.

16 years ago I was in a serious car accident, when a semi truck pulled out in front of me. Well, the repecutions today is spinal surgeries, and probably Another one to come. He is slowly giving me my life back. I wouldnt see another doctor. He has compassion for his patients, and God has given him a gift , and he takes advantage of it. Dr Topp is a great person as well as an awesome surgeon. I had him perform a L5-S1 Microdiscectomy in 2012. Although I am still dealing with some back discomfort he and Ginger are there to help everytime I need them!!!
