Dr. Raymond T O'Hara

Dr. O’Hara was exemplary! He quickly diagnosed my issues and came up with a strategy to address them. Four hours after my injections, the pain is gone!

Great job

I was having severe pain in the arch of my left foot. I had three x-rays taken. Dr. O’Hara only pressed on my arch and decided I had plantar fasciitis. He gave me a cortisone shot and told me to come back in two weeks. His nurse gave me some foot exercises to do. The whole time he was with me was less than five minutes. I asked a few questions like what did the x-rays show and the effectiveness of cortisone to which I got very short answers. I felt like part of an assembly line. I was not given the opportunity to ask about the numbness I was having in the foot, and now my toes are numb. I received more information about plantar fasciitis from the internet and my friends who have the condition than I received from Dr. O’Hara. I will return to my other podiatrist who cares to spend more time discussing my condition. Dr. O’Hara is not the podiatrist for me.

The doctor came in and told us what could be the causes for my pain, and prescribed two lab orders and a medication that might help. He did not go into any level of detail as to what I should do (from diet or care perspective), and seemed in a hurry to leave the room. While I appreciate that doctors can be busy people, I would think that they would remain in the room for more than 3-5 minutes. As patients, we place our trust and hope in you, and it can be disappointing to feel like we don't matter enough to stick around for more than a couple of minutes.

My final visit with Dr O'Hara. I found him to be very thorough and easy to talk to about any issues regarding my treatment.

He took his time to explain things to me and then again to my 10 year old son who was the patient. My son is curious and had many questions that Dr OHara answered patiently.

Appoint was on time at 5:30. Had my procedure done and was back home by 6:10

I hope the MRI will help and find what going on with my feed , today isn’t hurting again. Thank you

Always on time and very through

I was re-evaluated for the healing of my left foot injury and was cleared to go back to work. Will be working on physical therapy for further healing. Thank you Doctor O Hara.

I was very happy with all Of the staff except for one nurse or medical assistant. Dr. Raymond O’hara was great. Overall I would recommend this practice! Most of the staff and all of the doctors I have seen seem competent and to care a lot for the patients! I took off two stars because there is some training needed for the associate that saw me briefly to fit me for my ACE bandage in the category of dealing with the public in a health care setting.

I love Dr O’Hara. My whole family has gone to him for one reason or another.

Dr. O’Hara has done surgery on my foot twice. I would never go to anyone else. He has the best bedside manner and is professional without making you feel like you don’t know what he saying. He takes his time with you and makes you feel comfortable about your treatment

I am happy to say that when I returned to work yesterday, I took the time to thank my work associate, Joe Tasic for recommending me to your practice. Dr. Jareb (took care of a knee injury), and Dr. O'Hara are truly very professional and show an interest in their patients. I thank Dr. O'Hara for the surgery he performed last Friday on my right foot, and the outcome. I have already given Barrington Orthopedics' contact number and information out to my friends and family.
