Dr. Raymond S. Murano

I'm sorry to say it will be my last visit after many years with him. I trusted him and was always very satisfied with his care. Unfortunately, he has a receptionist that verbally attacked my husband and I after we inquired why we weren't being called in for my appointment. She had called me on Friday to confirm my appointment for Monday and ask if I'd like to come in at 10 instead of 10:45 as there had been a cancellation. I accepted and she said, "Then we'll see you at 10AM on Monday." We were there at 9:55. I went to the desk and said I was there and she snapped, "Have a seat!" I did. At 10:55 my husband went to the desk and asked if she knew how much longer we would be waiting as 3 other patients had gone in after I was there. She snapped that I hadn't checked in and that my appointment wasn't until 10:45 and I was late. At this point I stood up and said I had checked in. She insisted I hadn't and that she hadn't told me to have a seat. Then she started yelling that she was sick of "old" people thinking they could talk to young people like they were a piece of sh...! I tried to tell her that my niece had been found dead the day before and I had only shown up out of courtesy to the Doctor, but before I could finish, she yelled, "I don't give a sh.. if your niece is dead! At this point, my husband took my arm and led me out while she shouted some more expletives. I am now fearful to go back there. I feel badly about losing Dr. Morano as he's a nice guy and a good Doctor, but I'm not going to be treated like that again.

Called to make a payment via my HSA cc and they can't even do that. Have to mail a check. How archaic. Office staff was rude. Whomever answered the phone was terrible.

I scheduled an appointment for my 92 year old father twice. They cancelled the appointment both times, the second time without telling us. He is in a wheelchair and it takes 4 people to get him to an appointment. Already had him in the car and was at their office. I told them this and they didn't care. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional set of people than this.

Dr. Murano is an amazing Podiatric Physician and Surgeon.

Had a very small bone spur removed. The surgery was done very poorly. 5 months past and I am still recovering. Greatly regret my decision. The secretary was not helpful and does not give reminder appointment call. I would not recommend going to his office. Dr. himself is good person to talk to but not best surgeon. I am normally not a complainer but this Was a BIG mistake.

Dr. Murano never returns phone calls, then when you call his office they give you a run-around about calling tomorrow because there is nobody to cover for his secretary and she's on vacation. Each time you call you get a different story and a different date which they will be working again.
