The most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever come across. I called to make an appointment today with dr bleday, he answered the phone and asked me what kind of insurance I had. I told him and he said that I needed a referral from my pc doctor. I informed him that I didn’t need one and he said to me, “I don’t believe you” A representative from my insurance company called dr bleday and informed him that I do not need a referral from my pc doctor to be seen by him. He then stated to my insurance representative that he didn’t want to see me regardless. I believe that dr bleday refused to see me because of implicit bias on his part. This office needs to just close and stop collecting people’s insurance money. Our child had surgery by Dr. Bleday in September. In March she was complaining about her hand hurting again. Tried and tried to get In touch with his office about her hand crazy answering service. So I popped in the office on my way past in April. He was there and he told me that he had to let everyone go he had COVID and is recovering. So he saw my daughter, sent her for some X-rays. We got them done and went to see him in may. His new staff was getting its bearings and he said that he would have to do surgery on the old finger and the new cyst that turned up and they would do the preauthorization with the insurance company. Fast forward to the end of July and I called him he answers and says I’m on the other line, call me back in two minutes. So I call back, no answer, call back again and he answers and we establish who I am and what I’m looking for and the child. He says oh I decided not to do the surgery. Excuse me you can just deny a child a service that we’ve been waiting on for serval months because you decided not to do it. Probably for the best because I don’t want anything to happen to our child because a Dr is not into their work. This office needs to close permanently. In retrospect, horrible. He replaced my husband's knee, caused an 8.5 day hospital stay, then insisted it was fine and wouldn't acknowledge his leg turned outward from the knee after surgery. Found a knowledgeable orthopaedic surgeon who replaced the knee. Would not recommend Bleday to anyone ever.

Apparently the place is closing down and everytime I went everything was rushed. The lady that did the schedule didnt care at all about the fact I had work at a certain time and would want me to rearrange my schedule to fit the appointment time. She always seemed upset.

Dr BLEDAY has the beat bedside manners. He is the kind of do that you would want to have as a friend. He really listens to you and follows up with questions to help understand your needs. The thing I like most about Dr Bleday is that he is not one to rush you under the knife. He uses conservative measures yet allows you to help in the decision process. I could go on and on about Dr Bleday. My significant other a retired doctor is going to see Dr Bleday as well. I’m thankful that that our community is so fortunate to have this special man and Special Doctor.

Dr. Bleday replaced both of my knees a few years ago. I have had no more knee pain and no more issues. He is a great surgeon.

Dr. Bleday is a great doctor. He explains what's going on with your condition and treatment. He has worked on my shoulder twice and it has shown great improvement after both surgeries.

everyone is nice and caring

Just moved to this town in May and needed a new orthopedic for my hip. Dr. Bleday was professional. The office staff was super nice and very informative. They were busy but got me back in a timely manner. This is also one of the cleanest offices I have ever been in! I HAVE FOUND MY NEW DOCTOR! Him and his girls are so great.

I absolutely love this doctor but his office staff.... blew my request for ct scan by not responding to 3 requests for a peer to peer. I was told numerous untried and had a very infuriating call with the office manager who was unprofessional, condescending and lied saying that I would not be able to get any medical treatment for 6 months if we pushed further for approval. I’ve spoken to 7 reps between the insurance and referral approval company who all say that is not true

Dr. Bleday fixed my husbands fractured hip and he did a good job, but we moved him to Graceville Florida rehab, which was a mistake, should have kept him in Panama City where the expertise was better, but since I lived in Bonifay though it would be closer for me to visit him. But one of the nurses said I should have never put him in Graceville...

I have been going to see Dr. B for years and we all have good days and bad days so I do not normally write reviews but I felt I needed to since I saw a man cuss at the front office lady and it was not the young ladies fault, she was doing her job and I just wanted to say that those ladies put up with alot with the type of people I have seen there and they handle it better than I would. Dr. B has a great staff!

Dr and staff funny and down to earth. The staff is small since the doctor has been out for 5 months but seem to have it together! So glad he is back! Love the remodeling as well!

They don't treat you right when you have a certain type of insurance. The tech guy is ok but the women are so rude and sorry. Also my sweater got stolen and they denied seeing my sweater. Also this is my husband's email so I'm a woman saying that those are all b****** at that office rude as f***.

Yes it's a long wait at times but worth it to have a Dr that cares about how you doing.

Office Manager worked in my mother In law with in a few days after we were referred for a hip issue and even tho the wait was a about 1.5 hrs we were just so thankful that we could be seen by a doctor and not a PA. I love going to this doctor!! He and his staff are very thoughtful and helpful!! And Dr Bleday is so funny!! When I asked him if he would let my 3 year old great niece come in and watch as he gave me some shots for my shoulder just so she wouldn't be afraid of doctors in the future, he said sure..no problem. Needed to get my child into a doctor right after the hurricane and this office was open and took my child’s insurance! I was able to get in with in 2 days and the girls there were so good with her! The office manager herself called and checked on my daughter a few days after the appointment and every time I went in to see the doctor I was shocked at the fact we actually could see the doctor and not a PA! Excellent surgeon. Repaired my left meniscus tear and did a beautiful job. While his staff may be a trifle rude, the surgeon himself is awesome.

His staff is so poorly managed. Hailey is particularly rude and instead of getting his office in order, he expects patients to wait for 2+ hours for their appointments. It's unethical at best. I witnessed her yell at a patient in the waiting room. She yelled at a young woman telling her not to make a scene in the waiting room, with no understanding of the huge scene she was causing. I felt bad for the woman that was yelled at and later thrown out. Hailey was clearly in the wrong.

This Dr. Is absolutely the worst Dr. Im sorry to be so blunt about this but because of this man my father lost his foot. This so called Dr. Kept canceling to see with my father and didnt see him for 13 weeks and when he finally decided to see my father it was to late by then and this so called Dr. Had nothing to say for it. He saw my fathers foot and turnes ghost white and all he could say is"thats bad". So now do to this Dr. And his carelessness to see his patients my fathers life has chaged.

Very rude staff...

He is rude when you ask him questions about the patients

I've had issues with his staff before but I've never had an issue with him until today. He became very rude with me for no reason. He talked down to me and made me uncomfortable. I will not return.

Every time we come they are 2 or more hours behind. They don't tell you ahead of time to let you know how bad the wait will be. It's the worst!! Never enough chairs for all the people to sit. This place is very dirty and old. I wouldn't reccomend to anyone.

Never got seen on time with my appointments that is if they didn't reschedule my appointments. I got upset about that very issue and was discharged as a patient with no regard to my current health status. Don't go see this doctor at all for anything.

Couldn't even get my daughter and appointment for a cast for over 2 weeks all because he was to busy on vacation I don't care if it's near Thanksgiving a Chile has a broken arm and your the only orthopedic in the area you shouldn't be out of the office that long letting kids walk around with no cast on a broken arm spoke to our pediatrician who said they has had previous problems with them. I was referred to this doctor by gulf coast er for a follow up. When I called to make an appointment the person who answered the phone was very rude when I tried ask a question. I would not recommend this office simply based on the attitude of the staff. There was absolutely no excuse for this womans attitude I think this doctor needs to have some extra training for his staff in how to deal with people. I truely wonder if this woman acts like this when a person is standing right in front of her? Good Dr made sure I was taken care of well after my snake bite.

He is extremely good at listening to what your issue is, finding out whats wrong and doing something about it. He can be abrupt but he expects the best from his people. The doctor and staff are amazing. They are also extremely knowledgeable and kind.

The staff was professional and caring. I was in pretty bad shape and they really took care of me well. Even in spite of my condition, they were still willing to joke around with me! Thanks so much for all you do!

Dr. Bleday is a skilled surgeon. He operated on our adult son and gave him new hope and a brand new life. After a skateboard injury when he was a teenager, he had several surgeries (the surgeons were not Dr. Bleday) and he had a profound limp and constant pain. For years he took prescription opiates and couldn't stand for very long, walk stairs, etcetera. We didn't expect a lot after Dr. Bleday operated on his leg; we were told there was a possibility he'd have an additional operation. After a couple of weeks of recovery, we could not believe how well our son was doing! It's been six months now. He no longer takes any medication. He can run up stairs! He has no limp whatsoever. Office staff was quick on working my child in to put a cast on. This is a very busy office but I am so thankful that my child was able to be seen and taken care of with-in 2 days after he broke his arm! Thank You Dr Bleday and your wonderful staff!!!

I don't know Dr Bleday nor did I hire him. I was In a terrible automobile accident and he was available. He performed the surgery to reconstruct my leg after being broken at the ankle, tibia, fibula and femur in over 30 places. That was 2 years ago and today I walk. To me, Dr Bleday is a miracle maker.

Great experience with my mothers surgery!! With in 3 weeks of her appointment his wonderful office staff had mom set up and approved for surgery! She is only a week post op so of course having a little pain still but is recovering great!! We have not had to wait for a call back regarding any issues because it seems that everyone there has some knowledge of my mothers situation. Thanks A Lot Dr. Bleday and Staff!!!

I will post a review after my surgery I feel like I trust Dr. Bleday as with his staff well it was 3 weeks ago he said that I need surgery yesterday I called my insurance company to see what the hold up was to find out that his staff had not yet submitted the paperwork to my insurance company my knee hurts so bad hopefully it won’t be much longer . The staff are friendly the Dr did answer all of my questions.

Staff are complete idiots and rude on top of that. X-ray tech is a cocky diva and other nurse is clueless. Not to mention the front is horrible with no personality and borderline hateful. He should have kept the old staff but I'm sure his attitude ran them away. I'll be finding a new doctor.

The front staff and new clinical assistants have zero ability to be kind much less say something positive. Ignored calls and hang ups are the norms. And unfortunately I've had more than one bad experience by this physician

Immediately after looking at my x ray he knew what was wrong, he and his staff worked quickly and efficiently at getting a surgical date set up, they handled insurance leaving me worry free. After surgery he made sure I was comfortable and not in pain. I will use him in the future and recommend him to my friends and family.

Our experience with Dr BLEDAY was great . He was very knowledgeable and his office girls are too notch!!!

We were able to get in with in a few days when other offices were out 3 weeks and yes I had to do some leg work by getting all needed information but I understood. The doctor did great with my sons surgery and the office staff worked magic with getting us in and getting our insurance handled! I know a lot of people are quick to post negative when they do not get their way but I am so thankful for the doctor and his amazing professional staff!

The Dr. is great it's his office staff that are rude. When I'm making a major decision concerning an operation on my body you would think they would actually care. The woman that work the phones are hateful, rude and inconsiderate. We are talking about a major surgery here! So, if you have questions dont expect to get them answered. They will talk over you while not even allowing you to voice your concern. The Dr.'s staff (Heidi& office mgr) will cost Dr.his reputation, small town, word of mouth

Excellent care, understood problem, acted quickly and corrected the problem. Remembered all details from initial visit which is very unusual. Very knowledgeable and helped ease the tension & stress with his confidence.

Dr. Bleday is THE BEST! He performed total knee replacement on me 2 weeks ago. I could NOT be any more pleased with his expertise as a surgeon and EXCELLENT bedside manner! He demonstrates sincere communication with patients and does everything he says he will. I think he's the BEST M.D. I have EVER had!
