They got me right in when I needed to be seen! Both eyelids had been swollen for 5 days! He was very nice, so was the staff, on the phone and in person. Glad I didn’t have to wait in pain, or drive to Ftw or Dallas! Thank you!

Heard good things about Dr. Chan. I scheduled an appointment with the office volunteer my insurance info....Aetna. Emma replied “There no need”, we will verify when you get here. Drove 45 mins to the appointment, waited 15 mins to be told we do not accept Aetna Medicare Advantage insurance. OFFICE STAFF SHOULD BE TRAINED BETTER. TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME IN PANDEMIC TIME!

If there's a zero star, I would select that. Dr.Chan did MIL cataract on both eyes. Both he said the lenses felt into the eyes. He got lucky that he able to remove one out but not with the other one. MIL had to go to another surgeon to remove it. After surgery, her eye were smaller than the other. I don't recommend to anyone and I hope no one has to go through what MIL went. Totally recommend Doctor Chan he has always made me feel comfortable.

16 years ago I was mis-diagnosed by two eye doctors before I found Dr. Chan. He correctly diagnosed my Iritis and treats it whenever it flares up. I have been going to him for my contact and glasses prescriptions all these years as well. He also began treating my teenage daughter when she had very dry eyes. Dr Chan is an excellent doctor. He saw me as a new patient on a Friday at 5pm because I had a possible retinal tear and took care of the problem right then. His staff is also very sweet. I always enjoy my visits there.

Dr. Chan treated me twice in 7 years. I had an accident that left my eye severely scratched the first time and the second time a cicada flew into my eye. He is patient and thorough and very knowledgeable. His specialty is emergencies and he takes his time solving the puzzle on how to fix your eye. He is great with people like me who are very fearful of having their eyes touched. He knows how to work with difficult patients like myself. I have complete trust and faith in Dr. Chan. I had another ophthalmologist when I saw Dr. Chan. I had undergone bilateral cataract surgery. I complained of right eye problems but was ignored. Shortly after this, my eyesight in the right eye was disappearing from the top down. I was trying to figure out what to do when I found Dr. Chan in Yelp and made an appointment. He saw me the next day, Friday, December 22, 2017. We are talking the weekend of Christmas!!! I declined seeing my own eye surgeon, Dr. Chan called a retinal surgery buddy who agreed to stay over and wait for me. Lucky for me, Dr. Chan set up an appointment for that evening. All went well. I am now able to see out of my right eye. Also lucky for me, my other eye surgeon left me with less than 20/20 eyesight despite my having bought the more expensive lenses. The surgery I had to repair my retinal detachment inherently causes vision disturbance. However, due to the less than 20/20 vision I started with, I ended up with 20/30 vision. Tried calling the office 5 times, I saw Dr Ray last year. Staff is poorly qualified at best. They need a staff that actually cares about the patients and doesn’t yell at them on phone, one that listens when you SPELL out your last or writes done your date of birth even though you previously left a written note when you arrived at the office a week ago to set up appointment and they were too busy to set one up!!!!

Just left his office and he is an awesome Doctor. He takes time to explain what he's doing and why he's doing it...what he's looking for and what he sees. His manner is very considerate! Highly recommend him!

Great experience. A Dr. who actually connects with you and takes that extra step is hard to find. Dr. Ray is one of these doctors. Thanks!

Dr. Chan is the nicest doctor I have met. He is genuinely concerned about his patients' eyes and isn't one to rush through an exam. He wants to make sure you, as the patient, understand the condition of your eyes, and necessary treatment plan if any. My condition is such that it is very important the pressure in my eyes is check every six months. I appreciate how caring he is and the fact that my 6 month check-up allows for quicker change in course of treatment if needed.

I was referred to Dr Chan from Arlington Memorial Hospital. He immediately put me at ease, just talking to me like a normal person. He didn't waste any time to getting to my problem. I felt totally confident in his abilities to treat me. I highly recommend him.
