My father was diagnosed with Stage 1 Mesothelioma and was a patient of Dr. Buenos for a year. After giving us false hope and rushing my dad into a 10 hour grueling surgery which was unsuccessful followed by a horrific recovery with complication after complication he passed away at home 11 months later. My family and I have not even heard from Dr. Bueno to offer his condolences. I’m not surprised seeing where he never had time to answer my questions and I was reprimanded because he felt my email was too long and should only be two sentences! He is arrogant and just wants to perform these surgeries to further his research knowing the patient will go through hell and back and still will not survive this horrific disease! My wife and I met Dr. Buenos last week at Brigham Womans, extremely impressed, I am seeing him, surgery next Tuesday on Right lung. I have all the confidence in the world in his ability, he makes you feel that way the moment you meet him. My wife an RN, also impressed.He is better than ever!!!
