Dr. Randy J Yanda

This DR was recommended to me by my GP, but such a hassle to make an appointment (new patients can't book appt online, but you go round and round with phone recordings there).. absolutely couldn't get a person to answer so am going to another practice.

Went to Dr. Yanda for a second opinion after an endoscopy by another GI didn't find anything to explain my symptoms. Then was told by Dr. Yanda that he won't see me again unless I commit to switch to him as my sole GI practitioner. Never had this experience before with any other doctor. Highly unethical and unprofessional.

I really enjoyed Dr. Yanda for several years now but the new nurse on staff has left me frustrated and even late on treatments because of poor communication. Would recommend him as a doctor but the nurses are who you communicate with the most and it’s making me consider switching providers.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Yanda’s for 20 years and saw him today for a routine colonoscopy. He and his staff have always been responsive, caring and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his practice.

I have had a fairly mixed experience with Dr. Yanda and his Team. While they are always extremely friendly and have great bedside manner, there never appears to be a sense of urgency, as it relates to testing and follow up. I use the MyChart feature, so I am notified when I have new lab results available. Unfortunately, after each appointment where testing is required or new medicine has been prescribed, I have been the one to reach out to get an explanation of what the results may reveal or what the next course of action is. I am not entirely sure my symptoms have been taken seriously, or that there is sincere desire to bring me relief. Not to mention, I probably had a Cholecystectomy, that was completely unnecessary and likely not the cause of my abdominal pain. :-( 7 Months later, no relief and none in the forseeable future. Great doctor and facility! And special shout out to his nurse Stephanie- she is so professional and responsive to all my concerns! Happy I found them!

This clinic professionalism scared me before I could even meet the doctor. Their front desk person didn’t like her tone of voice. It’s screaming and yelling and laughing in the background about food and chick fila like everyone just having a good time. I’m am currently writing this review while still on hold for 10mins now. I mentioned all the background noise and now I feel as though I’ve been placed on this long hold. This is for the gastroenterologist. A wonderful experience. 5 colonoscopy and endoscopy performed by Dr Hands. He is a wonderful Dr.

Dr. Randy Yanda performed my fifth colonoscopy this morning. I was greeted by a lovely RN named Caroline who was a complete pleasure and made me feel comfortable immediately. Due to COVID-19 rules, I was walking in alone for the first time and was nervous although I should not have been. I always appreciate Dr. Yanda and his wonderful staff and today everyone was more supportive than ever. Rochelle assisted me after the procedure and was very helpful. None of us wish to be in a high risk group for colon cancer. I’m so very happy to have Dr. Yanda and his extraordinary staff every five years. Dr Yanda changed my life for the better. He, and his staff work with you to solve problems and find solutions, which is often hard when dealing with the digestive track. He suggested the low fodmap diet BEFORE everyone else had heard about it, and it's worked wonders, so he also stays current on research. Great bedside manner too.

Dr Yanda is very clinically skilled, competent, empathetic, and great bedside manner. He did my endoscopy and colonoscopy. Excellent physician ! I’m a Registered Nurse and I highly recommend .

Dr. Yanda is a fantastic doctor. He cured me of a stomach issue where I lost so much weight and after another doctor in the group did test after test, medication after medication and I switched to Dr. Yanda after I waited four hours for my appointment. Dr. Yanda got me well right away. One medication and one test. I was thrilled after being so sick. I took my 90 year old mom recently after she had two years of stomach pain. Her internist did nothing. Dr. Yanda did one test and one medication and she is well. What a great doctor and so nice. Wava in the front office is so sweet and treated my mom like a queen after she saw how nervous she was. I was so appreciative. Stephanie has also been wonderful. Yands’s office can’t figure out how much a procedure costs. The office cannot correctly verify commercial insurance coverage. The office offers zero assistance or assurance in reducing or eliminating surprise billing risk. Yanda refused multiple requests to discuss the situation. He is obviously busy enough that he does not need any more commercially insured patients.

Doctor Yanda may be a good physician, but his office has chosen to no longer support veterans through the veterans choice or TriWest heath care alliance for veterans. It's a decision of convenience for billing purposes and it shows a lack of caring and compassion for this who have served their country!

I feel Dr. Yanda is a knowledgable doctor that is conservative in his treatment. My family and I have been to him many years and feel very confident in him.

After 20+ yrs I still feel I have the most knowledgeable doctor in Atlanta in his field. You come away from a procedure feeling you just had the best. He listens too

Dr Randy Yanda is ABSOLUTELY the rock star of Gastro in Atlanta... he saved my wife much pain and suffering with his skill and she will say the same thing, so 5 stars X 2 = 10 stars for this review.

As a physician AND a patient, I can say this guy is the very best. Not only has he seen many many of my patients over the last 30 years, but he has also taken excellent care of me in the past as well as recently. Great staff is a plus as well. Highly recommended. Jim Braude MD

I have been a patient for over ten years. I have had multiple procedures. Dr Yanda is tops in his field.

Dr. Yanda is patient, professional, and very thorough in his exams and explanations of condition and the next steps. His kindness and understanding of his patients are obvious. Definitely recommend him to my friends and family.
