Dr. Randolph J Jacobs

This office is absolutely filthy and disgusting! Upon being called to come back to my exam room I noticed the office was undergoing some construction as there was paint, drywall mud ect on the walls and carpet in which I was willing to over look that, however; I asked to use the bathroom and was told to have a seat in a chair that was sitting in the hallway until the bathroom was available, the chair had a large center area that looked wet, like someone had urinated on it along with other white stains! I asked the lady "what is that on the chair?" she replied we are under construction, I said "it looks wet, I would rather stand!"! Upon entering the bathroom I noticed on the seat protector dispenser there was yellow spots all over it, looked like urine! The floors had an accumulation of dirt around edges and corners and just plain filth! I couldn't believe it! I came out and showed the lady what I saw and she again blamed it on the construction! I told her "this isnt construction

Waited almost 2 hours in his waiting room. Staff was terribly unprofessional, took 3 biopsies and never gave me the results. On top of all that his staff was beyond mean to a disabled woman that came in on a hospital bed! So, so unprofessional!

I love Dr. Jacobs! He has been my dermatologist for my entire life and has worked wonders for my acne and sun damage concerns. He’s also spotted pre-melanomas that nobody noticed! He is friendly, caring, extremely intelligent and knowledgeable. His office staff is also very friendly. I would never go to another Dermatologist!

I've been suffering from a painful skin rash for over 5 months. My primary Dr referred me to to Dr. Jacobs. He is one of the best Dr's I've been to. He had a full diagnosis in about 1 minute. Very courteous and explained the disease, treatment and prescription were thoroughly explained. Exceptional physician. He will be my "go to" dermatologist from here on out. Thank you Dr. Jacobs.

1st Dr I've been to in years who spent extra time to go over all skin conditions and explain how medicine works concerned for your health totally recommend

Let me start this by saying his office exposes high risk patients to the Coronavirus. He made my mother come in during the stay home order just so he could come into the room in a hazmat suit, not come near my Mom and NOT refill the medication he had her come in for because my Mom has a compromised immune system . Did I mention I spoke with the office manager “Jessica” which is rudest and uncaring “manager” I’ve ever dealt with before my Mom went in, to ask if there was anyway to review her chart or set up a Teledoc visit so she wouldn’t need to be exposed. She said absolutely not , my mom needs to come in for this refill (WHICH THEY DID NOT GIVE HER) In other words, this dr just had her come in to expose her and bill her insurance for a visit that had no outcome whatsoever. I would not recommend this Dr to my worst enemy. I pray my parents stay healthy as they are elderly and with compromised immune systems. I assure you if anything God forbid happens to my parents they will be the first one’s I will hold responsible and I will go all the way to report them to whomever I must being I’m in the medical field and have all the resources to do so. The only reason this has one star is because it would not let me submit it without one.

I have been going to Dr Jacobs for 20+ years. As a teen he helped with my acne and as I aged he has removed many precancerous moles. He is kind, patient and thorough. In all my years of going there I have never felt rushed. He takes the time to hear all of my concerns and thoroughly explains the options. My children now go to him when they have a condition with their skin and they too think he is wonderful. Doctors like this are hard to find, especially in this fast paced world we live in.

After waiting nearly an hour past my appointment time, with no apology from the Dr. and still two (2) people ahead of me I cancelled and walked out. This is no way to treat a patient.

Dr. Jacobs is a wise, educated doctor who looks at your "whole person" when evaluating your condition. He takes time with you and doesn't rush through appointments. His passion for helping others is clearly demonstrated. Yes, I had to wait to see him...but 90% of the time, I've found one does have to wait for the competent, sought-after doctors. Dr. Jacobs was worth the wait.

Wouldn’t recommend this clinic. They are after your money and not at all after helping patients. Worst they will send you to labtesting with huge out of pocket. WORST!!

I found the office staff to be short, rude and otherwise disrespectful of their patients. I was treated as a number and not a customer/patient. I observed another patient being treated in the same manner. The staff give off the impression that you are bothering them and they don't care about their patients. It is unfortunate that Dr, Jacobs is so poorly represented by his staff. I will not be returning to this office. First impressions matter!

Some years ago, I decided to see Dr. Jacobs to check a spot on my leg. I would routinely see another doctor but couldn't get in right away so I went Randy Jacobs. He froze 2 spots on my back and "burned" 2 huge and deep holes that took almost 6 months to heal. I had to go to a disease skin specialist on Coronado Island who treated me and said it was horrendous what he did to me. When I looked at my back in horror, he just said, "you have insurance...no big deal"....he "butchered" my back!
