Dr. Rhea is the type of person who either likes you or he doesn't. He doesn't hide his feelings well. I am sure lots of people enjoy having him as a doctor, but I didn't. He was moody and did not show any signs of a good bedside manner. His nurse was the same way, but outwardly far more negative. I am finished with Carilion.

Dr Rhea is an excellent primary care doctor, he sees all of my family and always is caring and concerned when he sees you.

Dr. Rhea has been my physician for 30 years. He is very easy to talk to and listens to what you're saying. He is thorough in his questioning and examination. As a result of our 30 year medical relationship, he knows what works for me. It is comforting to know that he truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Rhea listens to you when you report your symptoms and makes a well thought out diagnosis. He explains the diagnosis and what options are available for treatment. I've been very pleased with him for over 10 years.
