Horrible... he was assigned to me in the hospital. Not my choice. Worst bedside manner I ever saw. Mean and not helpful and absolutely offered no info... My strongest non recommendation in my 58 years alive. Do not use him.

I have been going to Dr Wayne Weiss for over 2 years now. I have found this group to be very kind and helpful at all times. All my questions are always answered. If I had to do this over again. I would definitely call on Dr Weiss and Tri State Bariatrics. Dr. Weiss had to do a redo on my sleeve surgery on January 29, 2020. My first one was done somewhere else. I really did not trust them. Had my first one done on September 12, 2016. Very glad I found Tri State Bariatrics. Would recommend them to anyone that needs Bariatrics surgery. I look for professionalism, efficiency, courtesy, personality and sincerity from a Doctor and their Staff. Happily I can state this is what I have received from Dr. Rivera and the Tri-State Bariatrics (TSB) Team. I drive over a hour for my frequent follow-ups as a recent gastric sleeve patient. The TSB Team makes it worth the trip!

Dr. Rivera is an amazing doctor. He was personable, answered all my questions, made me feel secure...pretty much extended my life. I am healthy and I look and feel fantastic! His office staff is amazing. They know me by name when i walk in the door...I feel like family upon my arrival. I have already recommended Dr. Rivera and Tri-State to several people. Thank you!

Very good doctor

I would highly recommend Dr. Rivera. I am a physician also and I was very impressed. He was extremely professional and thorough. He answered all my questions. I felt he had my best interest at heart and was not quick to jump to a surgical procedure before exhausting medical weight loss. In addition he made sure to do all blood work and EKG before any prescriptions. I had been to two previous bariatric centers and did not receive the quality of care I received from Dr. Rivera.

The worst experience ever! I was caught off by the lack of respect given to me by the receptionist Maria.

I met Dr. Rivera 6 years ago when he implanted my Lap Band and have had nothing but Excellent experiences with him. He is the kind of Doctor who really listens to you and isn't in a hurry to get to his next patient. I highly recommend him!

I met with this doctor several times regarding stomach bypass surgery and he prescribed a series of tests including one needing a prescription. Despite numerous attempts to obtain the prescription and repeatedly requesting he and his staff follow up - I have still not received the much needed prescription and my request is completely ignored by the doctor - the staffs only response is the doctor has not responded to the requests. What kind of service is this? This is poor service. Terrible!

Excellent surgeon, compassionate person, really wants you to succeed.
