Dr. Ramalingam Ratnasabapathy

Dr. Ram is wonderful. He is helping my dad with his pancreatic cancer and he has been nothing but amazing. Making sure he gets the correct treatment as quickly as possible & he is very knowledgeable! He explains things thoroughly. I’m so confident in having him care for my dad. Truly thank you a million times Dr.Ram.

DR. RAM! is an amazing Oncologist! His knowledge & bedside manner is beyond compare he is the example of what doctors should be his care his treatment his attention his knowledge his connections to other physicians in his field has what has saved my son's life

Dr. Ram is an 11 on a scale of 1-10. He is analytical, caring, smart, thorough, well educated and diligent. I am very lucky to have been referred to him by UCLA Medical Center, another steller organization.

Dr Ram is amazing since I was diagnosed with colon cancer he continues to provide outstanding service to me he also cares about you and your well-being and most of all a great listener. Being I didn’t have a primary care doctor n started my treatment prior to finding one just recently he stepped in helped me with my other health concerns.I’m not one for doctors but Dr Ram is truly a blessing n I’m glad he came in to my life to walk me through my medical issues definitely recommend him if u need an oncologist. Dr. Ram is amazing! He is very caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable! I would not go to any other oncologist. His staff is top notch, both efficient and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Ram and his entire staff.

Dr Ram is very thorough. He takes the time to talk to you and explains everything Good personality.

Dr Ram has been my doctor for many years. He was the only one out of many doctors who did not give up on me during my long hospital stay, not sure what I will do when he retires.

Dr. Ram is cordial, respectful, and knows his work. The staff are polite and timely. They answered a question when I called. Great place to go.

Both myself and my mother are patients of Dr. Ram. I see him less frequently than my mom, only twice a year for follow up after a cancer diagnosis 12 years ago in CA (I just moved to Las Vegas), but my mom sees him monthly. Any concerns with my mom Dr. Ram calls me at once, not his nurse or a clerk, but he himself. Even before I moved here but was preparing to and had developed a new problem he jumped right on it and asked what he could do to help me with the medical issue. He treats both me and my 93 year old mother with respect, explains all issues and results and asks our opinions and input for all treatments.

Dr. Ram is caring and thorough, and is staff is friendly and efficient. I feel very included in my plan of care, and trust in Dr. Ram’s ability to care for me.

Love Dr Ram. He’s so caring and attentive. Listens to my needs and takes time with me each visit.

Seemed ok at first. Rushed me into chemo without fully explaining my diagnosis. Lost faith in him when other doctors on the cancer team explained parts of my diagnoses he should have told me up front. Disappointing.

Dr. Ram is the best. The staff is awesome, professional and knowledgeable. They show concern for each individual.

I am a 100% VA Service-Connected total & permanently disabled Veteran. I was referred to Dr. Ratnasabapathy at the Comprehensive Cancer Center of Nevada by my Dignity Healthcare PCP for a follow up. Dr. Ratnasabapathy managed my care with excellence. He ordered immediate testing that discovered I had Head & Neck Cancer. He acted quickly. Under his care and direction he quickly set me up with a team of Specialists that all acted very quickly. My prognosis now is very good and after 5 years is 80%+ I will remain well. Dr. Ratnasabapathy with his team of Specialists saved my life. I am forever grateful. I would highly recommend Dr. Ratnasabapathy to my fellow Veteran’s. The care I receive under this excellent Doctor Ratnasabapathy is far superior to care I received from VA in the past. I would recommend him to anyone needing Cancer care. Dr. Ratnasabapathy cares. And I could feel his deep respect for Veteran’s. Thank you Dr. Ratnasabapathy and the Comp. Cancer Center of NV.

The lymphoma was crushing my kidneys and causing kidney failure. After a very aggressive approach and many rounds of chemo my cancers are in remission. We are now going above and beyond and trying to set up a stem cell/bone marrow transplant to increase the chances that I will stay in remission and never have to go through this again. I’ve been going to Dr. ram for close to 18 years now. Every time one of my insurances drops Dr. Ram, I find out what insurances they take and I moved to a new insurance. I simply do this because I will never leave Dr. ram as my specialist for my blood disorder. He and I are on the same page as far as my blood disorder is concerned. And he is the most caring and understanding doctor that I have come across in this town! He is always there when you need him. He has never let me down in 18 years.

There was confusion around appointments and procedures when a terminal patient was seeking counsel. It took over a month to finally get the correct tests and results after many cancelled appointments by the doctor. Doctor did not provide estimated life timeline expectancy. Continued to set up monthly follow up appts.

Dr. Ratnasabapathy has an absolutely awful bedside manner. Even worse than his bed side manner is his medical skills. My experience with this doctor was awful. Cancer and hematology patients should be treated with respect and dignity and this doctor is not capable of that.
