Dr. Ramakrishna Vennam

Dr. Vennam has been my doctor for many years. He was also my mother's doctor. She had many health problems, and he was able to work with her and resolve issues that had been overlooked by other doctors. I trust him implicitly.

Great Doctor. I have been going to him since the mid 90's. Great staff and a very pleasant experience.

By far the worst and most unprofessional doctor ever. He belittles and degrades his workers in front of the patients. He barely pays his CMA above minimum wage in order to keep from hiring a nurse. His CMA is expected to be the office manager and take care of patients while also billing and coding. He is in violation of so many medical laws. He is in jeopardy of major medical review lawsuits.

Best doctor EVER! He has been our family doctor for over 10 years now! We love you and the staff Dr Vennam! Keep up all your great care!!! Thank you for everything you do!

Dr. Vennam has been so good to my father and so kind to the family. He’s thorough and thoughtful. He checks in daily which is rare in a hospital. I’m very grateful for him.

On a recent hospital stay and surgery Dr. Vennam was the hospital doctor for my father because he was the hospital counterpart to my father's family doctor. Vennam was detached, evasive, and impersonal at best. Despite our requests for him to keep us informed on his decisions he eluded every chance to do so. When we questioned him on these decisions we were met with blank stares from him. After a very critical surgery he moved my father to a regular hospital room instead of a step-down room. It was very obvious to our family and the nursing staff that he was not at all ready for that step. Again upon confronting Dr. Vennam about this decision he was evasive and passively aggressively combative. He arbitrarily ordered the removal of dad's nasogastric tube when there was no indication by the nursing staff or other doctors that he should do so. This was such an agonizing experience for my father and my father had to go through it again because it had to be put right back in. This confounded the rest of the staff and put my father through unnecessary anguish. When we inquired to Dr. Vennam why he made that decision we were again met with evasive indignance. These are just some of the examples of the perplexing actions of this doctor. My parents have gone to their family doctor for almost 40 years and we are considering changing doctors just by association with Vennam. He might very well be a skilled doctor, but it is incredible that he is allowed to practice medicine in this capacity. Was my mother's general doctor. Excellent bedside manner. Not in a hurry to prescribe unneeded medicine. Quick to visit in the hospital. He even came to her funeral. I can't think of anything to complain about over the many years.

Dr Vennam has been my &and my husband's doctor since 1999. He is a "no frills" kind of doctor, so if you're looking for someone to entertain or give you warm fuzzies, you won't get it with him. HOWEVER....what you WILL get is an extremely well-qualified doctor who knows his stuff. If he can't diagnose or treat your malady, then he'll refer you to whoever can. He is personable, albeit reserved, but don't let that dissuade you from seeing him. If you have questions...ASK HIM!

Dr. Vennam is the greatest!! He understands and listens to you with no hurry! He has been my family Dr. for many years and I can't say enough good things about him!! He & the office staff is AWESOME!!!
