Dr. Layman performed a somewhat complicated laparoscopic lymph node biopsy on me. He was kind, efficient and thorough and listened to all of my questions and concerns. I have minimal scarring. I would recommend Dr. Layman whole-heartedly for any surgical procedure.

Prompt, your time is just as valuable as his time, I appreciated that. He listens and he really hears you, he answers your questions and addresses your concerns. He doesn't make unnecessary appoints. He gets your input about your health and your feelings. I love this man.

Excellant surgeon! Dr. Layman has a kind humble personalty. My husband had a very difficult surgery to undergo with cancer of the esophagus that spread to other places. He kindly talked and explained things to us. He looked after my husband every step of the way after surgery. We were very impressed with his skill and how well the surgery went. Doctor Layman is second to none. Due to cancer I needed a skilled surgeon to remove part of my stomach and esophagus, a mass near my aorta and 2 spots in my liver. He did this major work with out using blood transfusions , I have been recovering very well after 5 weeks I am eating well , able to walk 3 miles a day, each day I feel better and stronger. I love Dr Laymen, he surgically removed a endometrial tumor that had grown through my abdominal & oblique muscle. He removed enough of the muscles to get clear pathology margins. Dr Laymen is wonderful and I can’t quite express how thankful I am to have found such a remarkable doctor. He coloborated with my oncologist immediately after my surgery. I highly recommend Dr Laymen if your in need of a surgeon that specializes in removal of cancer. Thank you Dr Laymen!!????

He is a talented surgeon with great bedside manner. His staff is excellent with scheduling and getting back to you. I highly recommend him.

Dr Layman is one of the best surgeons in Richmond, VA. He saved my life and I will always have him on my heart and mind. He is professional, attentive, nice and he over excel in his job. I am glad that we have him and people Like him on this world.

He managed to get stones trapped in the duct out laproscopically and saved me from a bigger surgery. He has great bedside manner. His staff is helpful and timely with scheduling.
