Dr. Ralph Mark Kaufman

Dr Kaufman was well meaning, but I made more progress elsewhere. He listened intently, but provided few insights or recommendations. There were better medications available but he kept me on one with poor side effects even when I complained about it. After seeing him for several years I was disappointed to find him business like and lacking empathy when I faced one of my biggest life challenges. Because I wasn't in a life threatening crisis he declined to provide any support by phone.

This doctor only sees patients that are stable. When I went into the hospital, he dropped me with no referral to another doctor to prescribe my meds. The discharge staff at the hospital contacted him and he refused to return their calls.

This doctor is one of the smartest I've experienced. I have a profession where I see a shrink on occasion.I dont always see the same ones.So I'had my share.Ralph can understand anything I bring up. I was very impressed with him.I do not have a mental illness.Its like part of my job. If I did need a psychiatrist for any professional advice, Ralph would be my first choice.
