Spoke with the Dr today. He takes this personally, he is going to talk to everyone on his staff to find out why this happened. It is his office & he doesn't want this happening. We both agreed with his suggestion that I find another Gastroenterologist as I was unhappy with his staff and we were both uncomfortable. As with most healthcare in the Valley, do NOT go to this Dr if you have any serious medical condition. Not only is the staff incapable of even answering the phones (I sat in the office last week & witnessed this) they arent even capable of calling in medications that they order. I thought going into the office for my refills would help me get them. Took over a week & they missed the one I said I have a week left on. Then, after being transferred to the ER from prompt care, I was refused a new appointment. Refused. Apparently they are short staffed. My provider was with me. No other patients were in the office that day. The staff was all in reception talking. So, maybe short staffed of people that want to work. When, after 3 days of no one answering the phone, I finally called billing (they answer of course!) I got the Medical Assistant on the phone I was told they were very busy, they have other things to do. When the Dr has time they would refill the med. Going to find a new Dr for my pancreas & liver, hopefully they won't kill me before I can get out of here. Spoke with the Dr today. Went to Dr Alhalal 10 years ago for colonoscopy. Now I cannot get anyone to schedule me for 10 yr followup after repeated attempts. Nobody from their scheduling department will call me back after leaving messages. Do Not Understand!!!!

The manager that handles payments in this place is a rude woman they should replace her.. called to ask who I can talk to about her rudeness and guess what I have to call the rude manager to let her know how rude she is wow.

Was running late to my appointment due to traffic and they actually gave me extra 15 minutes to get there doctor and his assistant were very caring and listened to my abdominal complaints.

Visited the Dr. Office today, was surprised to see the PA instead of Dr. Ralph Alhalel. The PA seems to be uninterested and didn't bother to examine me despite complaining of pain. Had waited 3 weeks for this appointment. Asking my primary to refer me to another Dr. Earlier visits with Dr. Ralph were great though.

I have referred both my husband and daughter to this office. I have seen many doctors and it is not often that you find a doctors office with both good medical providers and customer service in the office.

Very impressed with my first office visit with Dr. Alhalel .so this report below is more against the organizing of his office staff. Had an appointment to have an endoscopy done. Was told to arrive at 8;15. No one at office. Called the office was told to come around to back. Went to the back and unable to get in. A nurse from another office walked by ask if she could help. Told her the situation. She said most likely the building over across street. Went there and was told this is the right place for the endoscopy. She said we could wait in the car, and they would call us when ready. I said how long. She said about two hours. That was it. My wife and came home. After fasting, getting up early, going through all this and my problem unsolved. The doctors offices down here are having big time problems with office staff, I am hearing this from several people. They do not answer the phone and do not return messages many times and have waiting experiences that are much too long.

Dr. Alhalel and his PAs are excellent. They take their time to explain everything thoroughly and answer any questions you have. His bedside manner is top notch. Front office staff are friendly and helpful and unlike most doctors offices the wait time is nothing. First visit I was seen within 20 minutes of arrival and the second visit within 30 minutes. I do agree with another reviewer regarding the endoscopy center he uses...the wait time is horrific and the staff less than friendly. My appointment was at 8:30 and I wasn’t taken back until after 10:00 for another hour plus wait before the procedure. Dr. Alhalel and his PAs are excellent. He is very empathic and listens.

Dr. actually takes his time to explain and to listen and answer my questions. He has a great bedside manner.

Got here early there was nobody got seen quick.

After seeing three other gastroenterologists, who couldn't diagnose my condition, I went to Dr. Alhalel, recommended by a friend. He quickly reviewed previous test results and identified my problem--Achalasia. I had two Botox procedures in the hospital, which were effective for about a month each. In the meantime, I lost 52 pounds! Because of my age, he reluctantly but cautiously performed a more radical procedure, which has been effective for over two years. He saved my life! This doctor is serious, and most of all qualified, concerned about his patients and very compassionate. I highly recommend him! Went to the office fasting at 9 am didnt leave till 12 noon after waiting for a 5 minute procedure which was a gall bladder ultrasound. The endoscopy center they send us to also takes way to long. We have appointments for a reason and they dont follow them. They need new staff asap.
