Dr. Setia and his staff are THE BEST!! He has cared for all 3 of my children since birth and I can't say enough great things about him and his entire staff. He is incredibly knowledgable and truly cares for the well being of my children. His staff has always been so helpful and a delight to work with. I highly recommend them all!

Dr. Setia is amazing and I'm so glad we did our research and picked him when I was pregnant. When my daughter was first born, there were some health scares. Dr. Setia presented the facts in a caring way without scaring us like the doctor at the hospital did. Dr. Setia also called us directly to explain what was going on and checked in on my daughter without delegating his office staff to do so. He is very knowledgeable, and I'm glad he's in charge if my daughter's care! Dr. Setia is amazing and I'm so glad we did our research and picked him when I was pregnant. Dr. Setia was all three of my children's childhood Pediatric drWe moved away some time ago and now live in ky but he was an absolute lifeline when it came to my youngest son who was born w a very rare genetic disorder. Without his excellent medical care and continued advice im not sure where gavin would be. Now he is a very healthy thriving 19 year old. Dr. Setia is so wonderful- answers questions directly, provides excellent instructions, and has such a calm demeanor.

When I was a new Mom, I have to confess, there were times that Dr Setia would ask me for a lot of details and ask a lot of questions and I was an insecure new Mom and I was somewhat intimidated. I am so glad that I didnt let that feeling interfere with having him as a pediatrician. Every visit (my daughter is 17 now) from new born to now, I KNOW Dr Setia has one concern and one concern only and that is the health and happiness of his young patients. The attention to details and the time he has spent addressing issues that have come up in 17 years has meant that when we did have a problem he carefully and calmly got ALL the information and made very thoughtful decisions about her care. He has been a great Doctor. If you are looking for an office that will find a spot for your child when you need one right away and a Dr who will take your child's health as seriously as you do: you can do no better than Dr Setia and his wonderful office staff. Dr. Setia has been my twins pediatrician for a long time. He has been wonderful to us. When the twins came in prematurely, he gave us advice oh how to take cake of them to avoid getting them sick , He has a vast experience working with American families and families from other cultures. Great pediatrician!

I LOVE! Dr Setia. As a mom of two, he was my children's doctor from birth to adulthood. He was patient and sweet. He explained everything and gave great advice for at home and after care. He was gentle and funny and so caring. When my daughter hit puberty, he had a female doctor on staff to handle her annual exams so she would feel comfortable. My son continued to see him exclusively. I can honestly say that Dr Setia correctly diagnosed every illness and effectively treated each injury. He wasn't the type of doctor to quickly prescribe an antibiotic and give a cursory exam. Instead, he spent the time needed and asked thorough, probing questions that gave him a broad picture of the home life, and risks and exposure issues, as well as the health of family members. An interesting aspect about his approach was to avoid referrals unless necessary. Too many doctors hand off a simple problem to a specialist without first taking basic measures to address the problem. In other words, he always did everything he could and was responsible and reasonable in his approach. The one time my son needed surgery, it was Dr Setia who discovered the problem and provided quick referral and followed up with pre-op and post-op, advising and educating our family. He was never a doctor to shy away from a problem. As a new mom, and later as a mom who experienced new health crises with each child, I was the typical worrier. Dr Setia worked to allay my fears by taking time to discuss the problem, the treatment options, and provide excellent follow up. When my first child was born, he worked with me to ensure that I was comfortable breast feeding. He helped with tips to get my sleepy eater to awaken and tips to address my other child's (always hungry) needs. He made me feel comfortable and proud to breast feed. When the children became teenagers, he took a common sense approach to child rearing, helping us understand the different changes. He was never judgmental, always kind and understanding. That he would take time to ask about emotions and feelings, school work, activities, and social concerns during those years of change showed that his approach was thorough. His staff was competent and helpful. The office was well run. After hours emergency calls were promptly answered. I couldn't have asked for a better pediatrician. Dr. Setia is the absolute best! He has been our pediatrician since my oldest was 9 months and my second a newborn (3 yrs). He is very knowledgeable and thorough. He makes sure to address any concerns you may have, as well as explaining the health issue and care instructions. I have never left his office with questions or worry. As a new parent and as a mother of two now, it is a huge relief when you're in such great hands. There has never been a time that we haven't been able to be squeezed in to a same day appointment with our doctor! The office staff is great as well, very knowledgeable and when they cannot answer the question they have a nurse or doctor speak with you right away! If you've ever used the nurses line they will call you back quickly. Thirty minutes or under every time. Dr. Setia is the absolute best! I highly recommend Dr. Setia. He's extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his examinations.

I am a single Mom with 6 children. My youngest is 6 and my oldest is 26. Dr. Setia has been there for all of them. I have NEVER known a more compassionate, caring and thorough physician. Not just Pediatrician, but Physician. For 26 years I have been through a lot with Dr. Setia, from child birth, to black widow spider bites, and on to the severity of seizure and more. He has NEVER mis-diagnosed. He assesses, diagnoses and explains exactly what is going on, why it is happening and the best treatment. I look forward to his comforting and calming smile and demeanor and I will forever be grateful for his commitments and dedication to our children. Dr. Setia was my sons' doctor for 18 years and I cried when both boys turned 18 and had to seek a doctor to treat them as adults. Dr. Setia is such a wonderful, compassionate, and through pediatrician. He researched problems thoroughly at times to help us understand the illness or symptoms and never once did he mind listening to a mom ask a million questions. Not happy with his care or compassion. I would not recommend him to anyone that really needs a good doctor. He just wants the money and treats you and your child like you're not worth his time. Very rude at times. And lack of concere. Please check other doctors. You'll be glad you did.

Dr. Setia has been absolutely wonderful so far! My son is 5 months old and we have had great experiences every time. He is very thorough and takes the time to listen and talk to you.

Dr Rajiv Setia is an excellent Doctor, he is kind and caring. He is an excellent diagnostician. He has cared for my three children for three years. I would reccomend him without reservations to anyone looking for a pediatric doctor to care for their children.

We chose Dr.Setia to be our baby's pediatrician and for the most part were very happy with him - laid back, professional and a wonderful person. However, some of the people on the front desk were not very friendly and slightly incompetent. There was this lady that had a frown on her face all 4 times I went there. They constantly needed to be reminded that our health care provider doesn't cover "well baby care" and so on. The software they're using, if any, is probably obsolete by now. Last, but not least, when we were shopping for a pediatrician, cost was important to us, so we asked very specific questions to all the doctors we saw. Like: "How many visits there are typically during the first month? How much per visit? How about the hospital stay". We were told that Dr. Setia will see the baby a total of 2 times and the fee is $60 a piece. It was never mentioned that for the 4 days we were at the hospital, we will accumulate a separate bill of $285. We'd probably be fine with it, but we were never told this. When I called later to inquire about it, the billing person told me it was "understood" that there would be charges at the hospital and that she really wasn't the one who forgot to mention them to us, so... In summary, great pediatrician, but they need to change the way they do business, because it's less than stellar.
