Rajesh Mehta

Dr. Mehta is a not a good doctor. I told him I could not do shots on my back do to my autoimmune disease. He disregarded my illness and did harm by not helping.

I was like 5 mins late but sat in waiting room for at least 10 mins filling out forms. Nurse took me in and was with her for a solid 5 mins in room answering questions. Nurse left and he came in very shortly afterwards. He started kind of yelling at me for being late and could only give me 10 mins of his time. His attitude was a bit rough and not too friendly. I asked him if he checked/looked for me at my appointment time but he didn’t answer me. I was there for a heart issue and he said he wasn’t a cardiologist and couldn’t help me with that issue. He was the doctor the heart surgeon sent me too. Confusing!

I was sent to the practice by my PCP for bilateral arm numbness, tingling and pain with weakness. Dr came in and said I don't know why thy sent you to me your arm pain is not my problem. The entire office staff was rude from the very beginning. Dr Mehta took a phone call 2 minutes into my exam, never excused himself or even apologized for the interruption. I told him I’ve never had a Dr do that in 49 years and his response was, when I get an out of country phone call, I need to take it. He was with me for 4 minutes at best and they would not refund my copay even though my test was never done and I had to go to a different Dr and have it done. I would NEVER refer anyone to him. I’ve been in healthcare for over 30 years and I’m appalled at the treatment I received!!!

Trying to get a hold of someone is getting ridiculous...no call backs to change my appointment..now I'll get charged again!! So frustrating.. looking for a new pain management..

Horrible to elderly patients - he and staffed rushes the patient , don’t listen to what they are saying. Pops in and out of room when they are in mid conversation and dr Mehta leaves them in the room without telling them consult is over. When I asked receptionist why everyone raced through instructions and don’t listen to questions - she said doctors want us to process as many patients as possible. He kept looking at wrong part of my back. When he recommend PT- he had no suggestions or list.

I have had nerve conduction studies an EMGs in the past. His technique was excellent and I experienced a lot less discomfort. Highly recommend.

My Mother Nancy was extremely well cared for. Dr. Mehta and PA Rachelle did everything possible to keep her comfortable. As an RN for 38 years I know an excellent practitioner when I see one. We are very grateful. Donna G.

I absolutely love Dr Mehta, I travel 7 hours after moving out of state for an appointment with him. He relieves my back pain and helps me live a productive life.

I’m 67, and in all my years I can say I’ve only had 2 doctors that were terrible. Dr Mehta is one of them. He may be a decent doctor knowledge wise but I wouldn’t know. He is the rudest person I’ve encountered in a long time. Cut off all your questions and rushed u out. Just acted like a jerk.

If I could give a lower rating I would. This is not the 1st time I have had a subpar experience with this Dr. & office staff. Never again!!

My. Doctor referred me to this practice for injections. I called for an appointment was told someone would get back to me. Over two and a half hours later no call back. I regret having too give this practitioners even one star. I went to see him two times and will never return. He was very arrogant and rude. After telling me I was clearly in no pain he insulted me. He told me I only needed to do more. I work full time with toddlers and am an active busy lifestyle but also have chronic pain. He actually told my husband to never do anything for me. He said if I have a bad day it is my fault. I hope no one ever had to experience a visit like I did.

Absolutely horrible experience, I wonder where he got the doctor degree, the staff who work there are also they dont know what they are doing.

They do not explain to first timers, they are located right beside the Jefferson hospital. If you are even 3min late they will not see you, and you'll wait another month to be seen, however be early and they will make you wait on them (how typical). When you are seen, you will be treated like an assembly line product, rapid fire questions by office assistant with no reflection time. Dr. Alex M, will not listen to your symptoms or cause of pain, will discount your issue(s), even when you have pain doing his exam tests. Though he will attempt to appease you with his personal physical therapy recommendation and push a pain med. If you are looking for just a script place, it must be right place to go, if your looking for relief and someone to seriously investigate your pain issue(s) you're at the wrong place. Just returned from this place, first time and I wouldn't go back if you paid me. My first delightful experience was getting a call with the lady wanting to know why I was late and that I should have arrived on time. I was 3 minutes late due to lack of clarification on where the office was. I filled out the normal on a scale of 1-10 paperwork, was told to give a urine sample?? And waited in the room to be seen. Then the star of the show arrived Dr. Alex M. He wouldn't listen to a thing I said and kept cutting me off like he had something better to do and he was rushing me out. Then when I told him my back pain worsens when I lay down he said I made no sense and said there's no way that's possible. Then he put a tape measurer on my back made me lean forward twice. Told me he couldn't help me and left the room. No offers to get MRIS, XRAYS, he didn't check to see if I needed refills on my Naproxen or anything. The worst place I've ever dealt with or been to. I know medical staff in prisons that take more care of inmates then these people did of me. Just returned from this place, first time and I wouldn't go back if you paid me. … More

Is Verbally Abusive to Patients in the hospital requiring care. Also refused to treat the patient and said that he was discharging patient immediately and didn't care how long the patient would have to wait in the lobby of the hospital until their ride came. He refused to care for the patient. Also accused the patient of lying when all he had to do was make a phone call. He doesn't deserve to have a medical license.

He was the most arrogant, rudest, poorest excuse of a dr I have ever been to. And I have had health problems for 43 years and have seen plenty of doctors! He treated me like I am a common junkie, asked NO questions about my medical history, told me I should sue my other doctors, told me I am weak and need to drop all medications and just exercise. He cut me off while I tried to speak. His staff was rude. The facility was uncleanly. The restroom was so dirty I did not feel comfortable using it.
