Dr. Rajabrata Sarkar

Dr. Sarkar came highly recommended as the go to vascular surgeon/ specialist in Popliteal Artery Entrapment Syndrome (PAES). When I was first diagnosed I joined a PAES Facebook group to see what other people's experiences were with surgery. Dr Sarkar was frequently recommended from multiple people all over the country. I'm almost 2 months post op and I am amazed at my recovery. I'm so glad I waited to see the right surgeon. I feel like I have a big part of my life back now thanks to Dr. Sarkar.

Dr Sarkar is an excellent physician for patients with thoracic outlet syndrome. He answers questions very well and communicates by email quickly. Very personable with great follow up.

Dr. Sarkar was amazing. I was seen promptly and scheduled for Thoracic Outlet decompression. Within the first few days i had no more numbness in my hand and no pain in my arm. I am very grateful for him and his staff. They were great.

I just had my first rib removed by Dr. Rajabrata Sarkar and and his team. I can not tell you enough how greatly I appreciate them and what they did for me. I have seen improvements immediately after surgery. The attention you receive from him and his while your are in the hospital is above and beyond what I could have asked for. If there is anyone who has or thinks they may have thoracic outlet syndrome I would recommend you go see him. I have tried several times to make an appointment and they refuse to even call me back. Guess doctors don’t need the money anymore.

I have been seeing Dr. Sarkar for about 3 years since my leg injury. He was attentive and compassionate to my needs. The surgery went well and I have seen significant improvement.

After a car accident and being pass from Dr to Dr, I finally came across Dr Sarkar. He was personable, took his time with examination and explaniation of diagnosis . I am happy i finally found a dr who actually listened to what I was experiencing.

Dr. Sarkar is not only a master surgeon, but a caring and understanding person who performed a successful surgery on my father's blocked carotid artery. He and his team were responsive to our family's many questions and concerns. Thank you Dr. Sarkar.

Dr. Sarkar is excellent. He saved my Dad. He was extra careful and was amazing. He explained everything and made us feel comfortable.

We cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Sarkar. Not only did he have the vast expertise and experience necessary to perform our father's life-saving surgery, he was very compassionate and supportive of the entire family. The risky 7-hour operation was successful, without complication, and our father is doing great. After surgery, Dr. Sarkar was always attentive and continued to take the time to give us thorough updates. We cannot express how grateful we are to him and his wonderful team!

I would (and do) highly recommend Dr. Sarkar to any friends/family members needing a Vascular doctor. In August 2016 I first met Dr. Sarkar in ICU surgery after being sent there from a different hospital emergency room which couldn't handle the complicated surgery needed. I weighed 71 lbs at that time. He performed the Mesenteric bypass and now, 6 months later, the blood is flowing properly and I've gained my life back - 40 lbs, strength, energy and the ability to enjoy my life again.

I was sent to Dr Sarkar after previous orthopedic and shoulder specialists diagnosed me with symptomatic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome with the intention of discussing treatment and pain management. He was over an hour late for our appointment, and had declined to review the test results and imaging submitted. He was then dismissive of my medical complaints, often interrupting or talking over me. He also declined to examine my shoulder or scapula. After a few minutes Dr Sarkar told me he had no idea what was wrong with me, suggesting the deformity and pain may be psychosomatic, and said I should see a shoulder specialist. When I explained my shoulder specialist has sent me to him, that my pain was serious and debilitating enough to keep me from performing daily tasks for other 6 months, he replied "So what is a few more?" Dr. Sarkar ended the visit by abruptly leaving the room when I became insistent that he attempt to diagnose my shoulder and look at my tests.
