Dr. Rafael R Portela

Dr. Antonio Portela is nothing short of spectacular. My son was a patient of both Father and Son, he had issues with breathing, snoring and had surgery done successfully which changed his life. Dr. Antonio Portela is always easy to reach, professional, thorough, and because of the experience my son had with him, I decided to visit him as well. He had been my ENT ever since and I can say that he has always taken the time to listen , examine and try to find the best solution to my issues. I work with my ears and they are precious to me. I trust him 100% and k ow that if at any point he suggests a surgery; it is because it is absolutely necessary. At times there are long waiting times, but his team is very pleasant and they do their best to keep you at ease while you are under their care. I highly recommend him.

The best, is very professional

I had to visit an ENT at my general practitioner's recommendation as I have a history of sinusitis. I chose Dr. Portela (father) as he takes my insurance (AVMED) and my brother is his patient and really likes him. Dr. Portela was excellent and so is his assistant, Rachel. I was seen at my appointment time, and both have great professional personalities and bedside manners. I felt they were very thorough in their questions for my initial appointment and sought to clarify my responses if they had a doubt. Honest evaluation and I left very satisfied and truly trust them. I highly recommend Dr. Portela if you're looking for a good ENT. He shares his practice with his son, also named Rafael Portela, hence why I referred to the "father" earlier.

Amazing practice Dr Pórtela is an amazing Dr with my son. He explains everything in detail and is very caring. Strongly recommend his practice. My 4 year old daughter had two appointments with Dr. Antonio Portela. Both appointments were not only quick in wait time but, informative. My daughter & I both asked questions & he replies in a knowledge & kind matter. Him & his staff are great. My daughter had to remove both her tonsils & adenoids 7/21.
