I saw this physician recently. He made me feel stupid for being there. Without having all my test results in hand he said “it’s probably nothing” and I was out within 10 minutes.
Rude, condescending. Without all test results told me I was âprobably fineâ and sent me home within 10 minutes.
If you want to be mocked, judged and talked to condescendingly then he is the doctor for you! I prefer to be treated with respect and empathy. Worst bedside manner ever. Then, to top it off an office person that made us feel we were truly inconveniencing her upon checking out. Absolutely no professionalism to be found. Oh, and their tables break and are a danger to the patients. Scary!! Thankfully the piece of metal that flew off the table as it was lowering didn’t impale my leg or anything. Honestly left shocked and amazed the place is still in business. ????♀️ If you want to be mocked, judged and talked to condescendingly then he is the doctor for you! My husband was referred to Dr. Marrero for a broken nose. He was a fantastic doctor, answered all our questions. He has a great sense of humor and made us feel at ease. We highly recommend him!
Sinus surgery is not for the faint of heart but once recovered; you will find it well worth going through the recovery process. I have not had sinusitis since my surgery. Dr. Marrero did an excellent job.
I was referred to Dr. Marrero for nasal breathing issues. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and he diagnosed my problem on the first visit while explaining the options for medications or surgical solutions. After I tried the medication for a period, we opted for the surgical route. I was able to schedule my surgery within two weeks and everything went great during the procedure. I had two post op appointments where Dr. Marrero checked everything out and answered all questions I had about what to expect in the healing process. Dr. Marrero corrected my deviated septum, fixed a turbinate that was causing me more trouble than I realized, and put a tube in my right ear. He was very professional, conscientious, and thorough. I breathing so much better now and there are no more sinus headaches! My breathing has improved dramatically. I am so glad I asked my doctor for an ENT referral, and I’m even happier that I was referred to Dr. Marrero. It’s so much easier to sleep when you can breathe!
He performed a tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy on my 3 year old son, who was having sleeping problems, breathing problems, and recurrent upper respiratory issues. My 3 year old was eating soft foods by day 3 post surgery. He had maybe one really rough day with pain on day 2. He is now approx 10 days post op and has not needed any pain interventions, is back to school, and eating his favorite foods. His sleeping has seemingly improved with no disturbances during the night. No reported pain. Dr. Marerro was so kind and patient the entire process. He personally called to check on my son and his progress. We highly recommend him!
I visited an ENT in Little Rock first and then visited Dr. Marrero in Conway. There was a world of difference in bedside manner! Dr. Marrero did an excellent job of LISTENING and explaining. Not once did I feel rushed in and out of the office. He was pleasant to talk to, helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to schedule with him again if I ever need an ENT in the future.

Although he claims to be familiar with Meniere’s Disorder, his knowledge is sketchy and lacks current information. He stated that Meniere’s was not a possible diagnosis in 2004 ( when I was diagnosed) in spite of it being known since the 1880’s. Dr. Marrero is wonderful! I am 37 years old and he performed my tonsillectomy last month. I chose him because of the different type of procedure he does for tonsils. It was a rough recovery, but I had been expecting much worse than I experienced. He was kind and thorough and I’m grateful I chose him for my procedure.
Dr. Marrero was very helpful with my ear problems! I have visited the other ENT in town and was not pleased with that experience. Dr. Marrero listened to everything I had to say and help me tremendously!
Dr marrero was very nice and understanding about my diagnosis and didn’t wait to schedule my balloon sinus surgery he was quick and efficient and explained everything to me before he proceeded. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone.
Great experience with Dr. Marrero. He corrected my deviated septum and now I am breathing so much better.
My 4 year old had been fighting an “infection for 6 months” we were put on every medication possible. Never got rid of the issue Dr.Marrero seen my son on the first visit and knew right then he had something lodged in his nose. Dr.Marrero assured me this one be an in and out procedure. Dr. Marrero was more interested in chastising my loved one about the medications her other physicians prescribed for non-related issues than he was in taking care of her ENT concern she was referred to him for. When he asked her what she was there to see him for and she said an “ulcer” in her mouth, he gave a lengthy speech about it not being an ulcer and asked if she would call an elephant by a different name and just continued to ramble on. If I could rate him a negative five I would, but if you’re reading this, I’m sure you get my point. Ask to be referred to someone else. I was having difficulty with sleep apnea and visited with DR. Ralph Marrero. He recommended a minor surgery to fix my deviated Septum. I've never slept better and my energy level is at all time high. The recovery from this surgery was just a few days!! THANK YOU DR. MARRERO
I have been having a dull pain in my right ear for about a week and started to lose hearing in that ear. I was able to get in to see Dr. Ralph Marerro and he is absolutely amazing! He was able to remove the wax build up in my ear and got to the source of the problem. I can now hear and feel SO AMAZING! He is kind and funny! Dr. Marrero took my tonsils out two weeks ago. Recovery time was better than expected; I was eating soft foods two days post-op. Feeling great and glad he did my surgery!
I had a surgery that involved fixing a deviated septum and an issue with a collapse in my nasal passageway. Dr. Marrero suggested a Latera implant developed by one of his med school colleagues, along with fixing the deviation in my septum and trimming up my turbinates. Through this long list of stuff in a very small space, Marrero STILL took the time to stitch up my nasal passageway, rather than “packing it” with gauze, which is the typical medical practice. He followed up with me three times since the surgery and took great care to make sure I was healing well and taken care of. I am healing very well and am grateful for Marrero’s skill, detail, and time spent on my situation. I had been suffering from chronic sinusitis for a year. 5 weeks after Dr Marrero performed sinus surgery, I have never felt better. Dr. Marrero was very good at explaining my CT scan and going over the surgery, what the risks, what to expect. I highly recommend Dr. Marrero to anyone the sinus issues.
Dr. Marrero might be the best doctor I have ever seen. I’ve seen many doctors in many different fields and had great to awful experiences. Dr. Marrero listened to me. He explained what he was thinking and what he wanted to do. He treated me like a human capable of thought and able to be a part of my own health care. He was clear, kind and competent. On top of that I had to bring my 20 month old with me. He was perfectly comfortable with his wanderings and chatting. He talked to him and helped distract him so we could have our visit. I didn’t feel like an inconvenience or a bother at all for having to bring my son. I highly recommend Dr. Marrero.

Dr. Marrero is first tier. Treats the cause, not the symptoms. Doesn't just prescribe meds to make the patient happy.
I had my tonsils out using the cool plasma technique that Dr Marrero performs. He chooses this technique because healing is much faster as their are no burns. He answered all my questions. He’s professional and took time to discuss everything with me. He is also funny and a great guy. My throat healed very fast. I’m so thankful that he helped me solve my issues. He is very thorough and took plenty of time to discuss issues with me. He is very precise with his communication, which I very much appreciate. Also a good sense of humor and generally pleasant to talk to.
Dr, Marrero helped me with a voice problem. He was an exceptional listener and diagnostician. He listened with insight and compassion, and he was particularity interested in preventing future occurrences. He took the time to help me learn what I needed to know to deal with my disorder. I have the greatest respect for his competence - he would be exceptional in working with any family member.

Dr Marrero operated on me 19 months ago to open my nasal passages by straightening my septum. Before the operation, sinus infections were frequent. Most years, during spring and fall, I would have at least one sinus infection per year. Since the operation I have not had a single sinus infection. Dr. Marrero also tested me for allergies and I have been on daily allergy drops for approximately 15 months. I have been told that it can take three to five years to see improvement but I believe my allergies have improved. Mike Jones, age 65 (at the time of surgery).
It was several years ago, and he suggested I get cognitive therapy for my bbpv. Seriously? I guess it was all in my mind....
I saw him today for the first time. He's a little odd and made mention several times that I have few health problems because I'm "thin" . He seemed more concerned about me not sleeping well then an ear infection I've had for a month .he wanted to refer me to a counselor/therapist to work on anxiety so that I will sleep better .
I love Dr. Marrero! I've seen him numerous times and even referred my father to him and we both had wonderful experiences with him. His staff was nice, appointment scheduling was easy, wait time has always been reasonable. Dr. Marrero has always been kind, respectful, and very knowledgeable. I absolutely love Dr. Marrero. He helped me so much with all my breathing issues as well as discovered i had sleep apnea. I am quite claustrophobic so this really scared me but the surgery he did to help with my deviated septum and enlarged turbinates made it do much easier to breath that the cpap machine is actually a breeze. Thank you so much Dr. Marrero!
Great Doctor!! Went to him with symptoms of vertigo. Within 15 minutes he is asking me questions about my sleep habits. Sent me for a sleep study and found that I had severe apnea. On cpap now and it has really changed me. My primary doctor who I have been going to for 20 years never diagnosed my problem. Dr Marrero did in about 20 minutes. It has changed my life. Back to being active with lots of energy and sleeping all night. Thank You Dr Marrero!! By the way my vertigo is gone.
Dr. Marrero is wonderful. I went to see him about my ear pain after he was wonderful with my 18 month old. He will take plenty of time to make sure you have all your questions answered and that you know all the options for treatment.
Was wonderful with my 13 month old daughter! Highly reccomend!
Dr. Marrero was very thorough in my examinations to ensure the correct diagnosis of Narcolepsy. Since this is a rare condition, he prescribed a medication not widely known or used; even by doctors. Narcolepsy had ruled my life. Thankfully Dr. Marrero was educated on this medication & changed my life. I actually am able to watch tv, go hunting & many other activities with my family without constantly falling asleep. I would highly recommend Dr. Marrero to anyone having any sleep difficulties.
Dr. Marrero did a fantastic job treating our son’s broken nose. His initial consultation was informative and he clearly explained the best course of action to treat him. The surgery was successful and his pre-op and post-op visits were reassuring. We appreciate Dr. Marrero’s care and professionalism and would recommend him to anyone with ENT needs.
Dr. Marrero has performed the septoplasty for me and the results and recovery are amazing. Highly recommend.
After two trips to a walk in clinic and one trip to the E.R. Dr. Marrero was able to help my son who could not swallow, eat, or drink. He did a very thorough exam and saw that he had ulcers all down his mouth and throat. Dr. Marrero listened to our story. He said it was probably viral and prescribed steroids and high power pain medicine. My son is back to normal. What a scary situation!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Marrero to anyone. He is a great doctor!
I feel extremely fortunate to have found Dr. Marrero. An excellent physician as well as his office staff. Very professional. He is very thorough with his exams and precise and clear with his instructions. I do recommend Conway ENT to everyone needing their services.

Wife went today and came home saying how how rude he was during the whole visit. Spent the whole time griping at her about the meds her doctor had her on.
Just seen dr marrero today he was rude n acted like he didnt care what i was feeling i will NEVER go back to him again my husband wanted to smack him. He needs to learn bedside manners and how he talks to patients
We had a great office visit. After surgery, he was more concerned with eating habits than the tonsil and adenoids removal for my son. He directed the comments to my husband, as he is thin and I am not. Little does he know, my husband lives on grease and sugar. Even referred to eating habits in Guatemala. The focus was so much on my son's weight, others in the waiting room quickly asked what surgery he had. Fyi 101.5 fever is a good thing. The paperwork said to call if over 101. Added Motrin to the regimen and phenagrin for vomiting. "Call the office in the morning and tell us how he's doing. " This was 9pm the night before. Wait to see Dr. Collie Shaw. I saw Dr Morrero twice for sleep apnea problems. I was initially referred by my PCP After being told I need to exercise and lose weight, he then said I should keep a sleep journal. I didn't go back after that I tri d to go back today. I was Running about 10 minutes late. I called the office to Let them know. Put on hold for about 5 minutes (I'm driving the whole time). Clerical lady came back on the line to say she would have to reschedule my appointment. By that time I was lass then 6 blocks from his office. I declined to reschedule. I am baffled by these reviews! We saw doctor Marrero this morning my 8 year old son was referred to him by pcp. He has been having a host of health problems that we are trying to figure out. We have ruled out several things and been sent to several specialists. Turns out at least some of my child's symptoms are being caused by chronic tonsillitis and that's causing sleep apnea but he has lots of other things going on. Unfortunately if something is wrong with your child and it's not obvious.... today's medical world is treat and release, go to different doctors for different symptoms etc. but the doctors don't talk to each other about the patient. No one has time to sit down with all his problems and piece it together and actually diagnose. We had an excellent visit in the office he was wonderful with my so who has major anxiety. He asked me a lot of questions trying to help figure out the rest of the issues. We scheduled surgery to remove to T & A. This afternoon Dr. Marrero called me himself to tell me a few things that he came across while looking into Caleb's case... he spent 20 minutes just mulling over everything and suggesting a couple of blood test that we should have done and a coupe of directions for me to go in. These things have nothing really to do with HIS part of this puzzle, but he can see that something is going on and we needed some guidance. He talked to me and treated me with compassion for the situation we are in trying to help our son. That was AMAZING to me! I appreciated it so much! I can understand people being upset about beside mannor and rudeness. It's possible I caught him on a great day or maybe you caught him on a bad day.... personality plays a big roll in how you interpret the tone someone has or the way they are trying to help you.... so far I would recommend Dr Marrero to anyone! I've had no issues at all with Dr. Marrero. Recently had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction done, and I seem to be coming along just fine and am looking forward to breathing even better.
I highly recommend Dr. Marrero. He put tubes in my one year old son’s ears and we are very pleased with the results. He was patient, answered all my questions, great with kids and even personally called to check on my son. Dr. Marrero is wonderful!
I struggled with sinus issues for my entire life and finally made the decision to do something about it. Dr. Marrero took his time with me and explained what was causing the issues and how to fix it. I felt comfortable and he made sure to have follow up appointments to make sure the surgery procedure results met his high expectations. He cut no corners. I greatly appreciated this. I can now finally breathe clearly through my nose. and have limited sinus headaches tremendously.

Love the quickness and efficiency of Dr. Marrero. very thorough and detail oriented.
I started to get a sore throat with a cough that continued to worsen, until I was forced to go to a walk-in clinic that was open July 4th. I tested positive for strep throat and was given antibiotics. I wisely decided to go see Dr. Marrero when my condition continued to deteriorate even after the antibiotics. He fit me into his schedule the day after I called and was very informative during my consultation. He had me tested for Mono, which came back positive. I should have gone to him 1st.
I had sinus surgery. After just a few days I could breathe 100% better. Thank you Dr. Marrero for the excellent job you done. I would recommend you and this surgery. It was a speedy recovery.
Nope. Not appropriate in his post surgery moments. Very unsatisfactory.
Great experience with sinus surgery!
He performed my daughters tonsillectomy, the surgery went well and she had a quick recovery.
I had almost all my sinuses blocked and a deviated septum. 5 hour surgery because doctor Marrero took extra time to get it right and make recover time and pain less. Virtually no pain or blockage after procedure compared to friends who used other doctors. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Marrero for any ENT work. 6 stars if I could give them!!!

Dr. Marrero did my septum/sinus surgery and I could not be more pleased. He does not pack your nose and make you keep it for days! They took it out before I went home and I could immediately breath better than before. I had VERY LITTLE pain. The only time I took the pain meds was when I did the first few sinus rinses. Make sure you do the rinses! Everyone warned me that the recovery would be terrible but my recovery was a walk in park. Thank you Dr. Marerro!! You did an amazing job.

Amazing! Cautious.. not “rush” w/options for tratment. I was informed and I felt like my son was a priority to them. Not a number or a “patient” but a person. Professional and prepared to make certain my son was well taken care of. Doc calls patients personally in a timely manner to communicate results and options. If I ever have an urgent need, his office works swiftly to help. They go above and beyond. I am thankful, impressed, and admire how he handles his patient care Great Doc!

I am so impressed and pleased with the service I have received from Dr. Marrero. He has always speant pleanty of time listening and offering suggestions and help with my issues. He is the first Dr. who has listened to all my issues and is willing to tackle them ALL. What other doctor does that? He performed surgery on me and I had no brusing or pain afterwards. He is so thorough, patient, and I can't say enough good things about my experiences with him.
I needed a new ENT for my children because last Dr wasn't great with kids. Dr Marrero came highly recommended by a Dr/mom friend. He is amazing with my kids! He talks to them, listeno to them and makes sure they are comfortable before exams and procedures. For him as well as the whole office, everyone is treating qith dignity and respect!

Dr. Marrero was very good with my 8 year old son. When he needed to stick a tube in his nose to look at his throat my son was open and not nervous at all. That says a lot! Typically my son would throw a fit and resist doctors. We are still working thru solutions for my son's condition. I left a message for him to give the doctor an update and the next day he called me back with suggestions. I greatly appreciate his proactive steps.
Dr. Marrero listened very well to my concerns and took them seriously. He was very thorough and spent alot of time talking to me.

Patient with chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps,, loss of smell and suffer from asthma. My surgery went great no bruising and I could breathe so much better the next day. I had PROPEL sinus stents, removal of ethmoid sinus , sinus endoscopy, repair of nasal septum. It's been only a week and I'm back to my normal activities.??
Dr. Marrero was recommended to me by a coworker for my tonsillectomy. He had performed hers several years ago and she raved about the coblation procedure he uses to remove the tonsils. This surgery is supposed to be harder on adults and while it was no picnic in the park, I think my recovery time for a 56 year old was exceptional due to the coblation procedure he uses and his experience in performing it. I was eating solids four days after surgery and back at work (light duty) the following week
