Horrible experience and we dealt with the most ambivalent staff. I felt that the staff whom we spoke to (Amy and Claudia, receptionist and manager I believe, respectively) did not care in the slightest about my father. We were met with responses similar to, so what, what do you want me to do about it, just tell me if you want me to cancel it or make another appointment. I implore you, if you can, please see another doctor. I would hate for anyone else to be subjected to the maltreatment and lack of care and professionalism we received. My father had an appointment with the doctor in June and scheduled it in March. The day of the appointment arrives and he gets off of work several hours early (difficult because his hours were cut almost in half due to the pandemic). He never received communication about confirming his appt so we called and were told that the appt had been changed and they called THE DAY BEFORE. When asked what number was called, they said they called his old home number that hasn’t been active for 7 years. How can they have a number from 7 years ago If it was my father’s first time there and he contacted them directly from his cell to make his appt? This leads my to theorize that after my father made the appointment and gave them his cell number someone deleted his phone number, probably on accident, and then they googled my fathers name to get his number. The search may have yielded his old number, but who knows. The phone call about this with Claudia and staff was eye-opening and we were left feeling demeaned and disrespected. The doctor seems to have only given a day’s notice to his patient and rescheduled our appointment without consent, leaving us to deal with staff who couldn’t care less about his delicate condition and his time or hours taken off work. We had to wait months for the appointment and they can cancel it in one day before without speaking to my father? Go elsewhere. Houston is filled with medical professionals who care and we have a medical center so please, do not let yourself get treated with such blatant nonchalance. Wonderful Doctor has real good bed matters .been with doctor Esquenazi for 15 plus years .would recommend him .it is a blessing to have him as my doctor.
