If I can give them 0 stars I would . Awful clinic run before you even schedule an appt . Disgusting nurses & let’s not even talk about the owners have no manners and you have every right to submit a complaint right and be upset how do they not expect me to be upset when I needed medication refill and due to them sending me to get blood work done that wasn’t even needed for me to get my medication refill I couldn’t get putting my baby at risk because they did a mistake when I called to submit a complaint the owner Laura said she didn’t have to submit no complaint that there was nothing to do but to redo my lab work . Like are you serious due to your nurses and doctors not doing their job correct all you can say is won’t do anything and go about your day .

Bad experience with Salud y Vida horrible customer service. No communication with patients. The doctor's wife which is the office manager is very rude and is not willing to work with patients complaint. You hardly get to see Dr Amendariz and see they schedule appointments with other Nurse Practioners and other doctors. They also order exams that are not necessary for the patients. Salud y Vida on Montana Street horrible service canceled my appointment without even notifying me. I went to my appointment only for them to tell me my appointment was canceled. The doctor has too many assistants coming in and out of the room, talks too fast and it's a bit frustrating. Other than that the doctor himself is good.

I came in Today for scheduled appt at 6:30 and it is closed..there was a man Gerardo Perez in the front desk just signaling to me that it was closed...I kept telling him is he could come to the door just so he could tell me the reason it was closed as common courtesy and he never did..

I've ALWAYS had a negative experience being a patient of this doctor. There is never consistency with the care providers I see. Their scheduling and communication is by far the worst I've ever experienced. I've waited in the waiting room 2+ hours one of which everyone was out for lunch and no one bothered telling me, on another occasion I was sent and scheduled to his office in Canutillo, waited a little over an hour to be told I would not be seeing the doctor at this location and had to reschedule! Also I must note that although I waited an hour to be told I was not going to be seen by the doctor, they took my vitals and charged my insurance for a two mins visit which only consisted of them telling me that they had made a mistake in scheduling me at that office.That same day they rescheduled "me", handed me a document of the rescheduled appointment only to see that the document they handed me was that of a different patient. With this place they make you have an appointment just to get refills of meds and they do NOT understand if you tell them your broke so it’s meds or be seen. They will choose be seen then I can’t get the meds. I’m over and done with this office. I will die of a heart attack before I give them even a penny!

His staff is nice and I appreciate their kindness. Both PAs at Shadow Mountain location are sweethearts, I feel sorry they have to work for that man. Awful administration

I have been waiting for my appt for more than an hour and thirty minutes I wish I could rate it even lower, it's called an appointment for a reason I was not a walk in.

More than 1 week waiting for Dr. Armendariz to send an order to Walgreens, apparently he doesn't take his job seriously, we are looking for another Dr already.

Dr. Armendariz has the worst mood swings ever. He uses his patients as punching bags when he is not in the mood to be kind. Schedule your appointments early not when he is tried and just wants to leave.

Worst customer service ever!!! My mother (85 years young) had been in a car accident in another city in Texas and needed a referral to see an Orthopedic due to a broken wrist. They wanted her to return to El Paso to see the doctor in order to get a referral. After they noticed that I was getting upset due to their lack of interest, they hung up on me and when I called back they continued to transfer my call around until someone finally answered . Dr. Armendariz is an amazing doctor.. He actually listens to you and looks you in the eye's.. Unlike other doctors.. Wouldn't change Dr. Armendariz for the world..

I've been waiting for at least 3 hours even though I have an appointment

Staff here is RUDE! you will waste your entire day at the clinic only to be seen for 5 min.

The staff is unprofessional my appointment was for 845 am they did not register me in until 945 and spent another hr waiting to just get vitals and 2 hrs more to see the doctor . Once I saw the doctor I was only seen for 5 min .... horrible service

Came in 2 hours before closing and they said they aren’t taking any walk ins because they were about to close. They stated they had one appointment and they can’t take me. The lobby and parking lot was empty and they didn’t have time to help me!

They need a new system the amount it takes for them to call u up for insurance information is up to 15 minutes then to wait for vitals is an hour of that, then 1 n half to 2 hours later u see the doctor on a good day!!! Definently last time coming

Hate bringing my mom to see the doctor. There are several ma's all seemingly working on the computer. Don’t set up an appointment. Walk in is your fastest bet. They only go by the list on their counter even if you make an appointment. There’s always only one physician. Make sure you have nothing for the rest of the day or else you won’t make it.

Dr. Armendariz humiliates and berates patients, especially if they are female. I am filling a complaint with the medical board over how he treated my family member. He was training physician assistants (PA) so he started telling my loved one disparaging remarks about her medical history, was not professional, refused to look at her medical records, and said derogatory remarks about other medical providers. He was not competent, compassionate, or professional. My loved one sobbed in the car after seeing him. A doctor should never humiliate patients. He is grossly unprofessional. He should not be a doctor in any setting.

I have attended this clinic for years and loved it! Never had I once seen or met Dr. Rafael Armendariz. Today, i met him and he was an obnoxious, rude, and highly emotional person. He was training a PA and "others" through humiliation and berating commands. It was an extremely offensive, hostile environment and the worst experience. Dr. Rafael Armendariz is VERY unprofessional. It is a shame I cannot leave a zero star. One star is wat too much.

Changing doctors, don't recommend any more

Dr. Armendariz berates and humiliates patients. He yelled at my family member, did not listen to her concerns, he said derogatory comments to her as he was training physician assistants, and was grossly unprofessional. I am filing a complaint against Dr. Armendariz because people need to be aware the extent of his egregious behavior. You do not bully and humiliate patients.

Was a patient for 1 year as part of VA's Choice Program, appointments and labs every 3 months only to see PA or NP and get nothing done. Always had billing issues, would make me wait for hours on med issues only to not get it done. Will never be back

My family and I are always seen in a decent time. The staff is friendly and very professional. Yes, they hardly talk but this is why patients are seen rather fast. They are straight to business and don't prolong taking vitals for a patient. Only once it was inconvenient because the A/C was down but someone was called to fix it ASAP.

What a shame that I'm not allowed to leave zero stars for this clinic. First off they don't care about your health, all they want is your money and that of your insurance. The only reason I went to them for 7 years was to refill my prescriptions. I have enough sense not to trust them for anything else. For one in my 7 years going at least 4-6 times a year I only met Dr. Armendáriz In pictures, I never met him in person or any other doctor for that matter. I was always only seen by PA's or NP's. At first it was OK I would go as a walk in wait for 15-20 min and see the Assistent, get my prescriptios and come back in 3 months. However at the end it got rediculis I went I went at the end of April to get a refill I was told I was do for blood work first, so I waited a cuplé of days and went back for blood work. Than I was told that I needed to follow up to have the results read so I can finally get my prescription. So I waited a few more days went in had my prescriptions read turns out everything is fine, so finally I'm told I'm getting a refill for 3 months what pharmacy should they sent them? I tell them so they tell me to go pick them up an, a hour. I go in 3 hours and they don't have anything. Next day I call the clinic back and they tell me I need another follow up in a week. (Please keep in mind it's been over a week and I have to wait one more to get my blood pressure medication). Make a long story short I have not gotten my blood pressure medication. It is now July! These people will rather see me dead as long as I can continue to go and they continue charging my insurance. I've been taking blood pressure medicine for 25 years and I have never had such a hard time. I had to go to an urgent care clinic to get them it took 5min. Of course I'm going to find another doctor. I went in to get migraine medicine refilled after starting a new job and eye drops, they scheduled a followup appointment for my eyes and I had to cancel due to my schedule at work. I got a call a week or so later saying they refused to refill my migraine medicine because I didn't go to a follow up appointment which had nothing to do with my headaches! I used to come to this doctor only to get my prescriptions fast,never if I had an issue. See all this clinic want is as many patients fast to make money, even to get a referral to a chiropractor, they need to see you in the office fast. Also 8 years of going I never once met the Dr. every single time I was seen by a NP with a bad attitude, who will never resolve anything without 3 or 4 follow up visits. That is why I’m not surprised that this clinic and Dr Armendariz are the lowest rated in EP.

My grandma has an ulcer inside her roof of the mouth the Dr never did nothing about it, she was only seen by the nurse practitioner which did not care about my grandmas health. Im very upset of the way he practice. I don't recommend him and if your looking for a Dr DO NOT Go with this so call Dr.
