Dr. Radu Clifford Mihail

My sister had surgery performed by this so-called Dr. and the day after the surgery she became totally deaf. We went back for a follow up appointment, and he could have cared less. He was more interested in talking to his assistant about music and singing. Unfortunately for my sister she now has to wear hearing aids because of his botched-up surgery. Stay away from this doctor if you can find him, he has disappeared, I wonder why?

Dr. Mihail did my surgery for my snoring and it took 2 weeks before I could even tolerate drinking or eating. I was in such horrible pain afterwards. I can breathe through my nose now but now my snoring is 10 times worse (I'm told) and I have all kinds of nasal issues and swallowing problems. Surgery was supposed to be only for deviated septum and ended up being a total UPPP surgery (deviated septum, total uvula removal, and partial removal of my soft palate). None of the extra procedures were discussed with myself or my family. Totally unprepared and blindsided. Had I known previously, I would NOT have had the surgery done. Nothing but problems since.

Dr Mihail is not a good doctor at all. I thought I could trust him after he helped me with my allergies, and then I needed a septoplasty surgery according to him to fix a deviated septum in hopes it would help chronic blockage in my ears. Though it did relieve some of the ear issues, I then developed a perforation in my septum he supposedly fixed. He had prescribed a nose spray for me, saying it was safe to take daily. However 6 months later I was advised to never use it anymore because his PA found the hole in my septum and said the spray could have caused that too or could make it worse. You would think Dr Mihail would have disclosed the risks but he did not, especially with my nose still healing. He was very insensitive with any follow ups I had with him and he never checked on me after I had to go to the ER for an infection two days after the surgery he did. I had a friend have the same surgery by him which resulted in the same hole in her septum. This man should Not be a doctor.

Dr Mihail successfully performed a left neck lymph clot removal. He sensitively planned the surgery to conceal the scar traces within a natural neck fold. Dr Mihail understood the nature of a longstanding and painfully embedded growth. The results were great and he skilfully made my life better.

Dr R Clifford Mihail is a horrible doctor. He is a narcissist who cares not one bit for his patients and who is subpar at his specialty at best. Look into why he's moved around. He is disreputable, does sloppy work and should retire.

Wife had ear unsuccessful ear surgery with him. Went back for follow up visit and he was no longer practicing at UPMC Williamsport.

Dr Mahail is a kind friendly doctor that has been through a couple of emergencies with me. He was great during a cancer scare and when I broke me eye orbit in a fall. I highly recommend him.

So glad I found Dr Mihail. I had surgery and he fixed in my sinuses when two previous ENTs could not - no more daily pain. He knew exactly what it was. He also has helped my severe allergies - I have almost no allergic reactions since having allergy shots with him. One other local allergist called me an 'allergist's nightmare' and didn't help me at all. Oh, and he has a fun sense of humor as well.

This Dr. is the nastiest Dr. I have ever come in contact with. He is not sympathetic to his patients . He has no bed side manner and my mother also had a infection after a surgery due to his nurse telling her to stop the antibiotics due to the fact they were making her sick and never called in a new prescription, he came in one day and ubruptly started repacking and cleaning a gaping hole in her neck. My mom asked the Dr. to stop due to the pain and was told to just deal with it. Pick another Dr

I had tubes placed, supposedly simple procedure....which was an absolute failure with dr mihail! Second surgery needed to fix his surgical disregard! Should retire! Awful experience!
