Dr. Rachel Nicole Simmons

I made an appointment for my son MONTHS ago for January 17. I received a call today that Dr. Simmons is no longer available on January 17, and even though I made the appointment months ago, my son can’t be seen until April. Unacceptable. We’ll be going elsewhere to see someone more reliable and accessible.

Pricey and didn't really listen to my concerns.

I've literally never written a negative review let alone a review at all for anyone, ever. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Huff herself (she's gotten me through some tough times), but when it comes to the new front desk staff- I think her name is Julie- and Dr. Huff's assistant; I've never been spoken to as a patient like the way those two women spoke to me on the phone today and just now. Dr. Huff was always so kind, compassionate, patient, empathetic and understanding and would even call me after hours to make sure my mind was at ease, as my skin diagnosis causes a lot of anxiety for me. The two women today were extremely passive aggressive, spoke over me every time I tried to advocate for myself, completely dismissed everything I was saying, gave me unnecessary attitude and were just straight-up rude and unethical. I work with children with Autism and speak to families of our clients all of the time. If I spoke to any of them the way I was being spoken to today, I'd be fired. Please do not go here if you want to be heard or understood. They made me feel as though I was dirt on their shoe. I have never been so disrespected by healthcare professionals in my life and frankly it makes me terribly sad that these are the people Dermatology Specialists decided to hire. Dr. Huff should know who she's working alongside. Definitely going to find a new office that really cares about the clients they serve and treats them with dignity and basic human decency. Had a great appointment with Dr. Simmons and her team. Got in to my appointment early, answered all of my questions thoroughly and was very attentive and informative.

I have been going to Dr. Simmons for two and half years, and cannot believe how lucky I have been to have found such an intelligent, knowledgable, thorough, and all-around nice dermatologist and person. Dr. Simmons is supported by a great team of other physicians, medical assistants, and office staff at Dermatology Specialists.A great doctor working at a great place. Dr Simmons was fantastic. She was thorough and informative. I didn’t feel rushed. And I had prepared a bunch of questions which she took the time to answer. I highly recommend this doctor.

I like to write positive reviews when I can. I notice some will only write a review for doctors if they are not happy, and usually that is a monetary issue with insurance, not the physician. Dr. Simmons is the best. She has helped me diagnose several things on my skin, and helped resolve all. I have been to her for common skin issues, skin cancers, and cosmetics. She’s a fantastic doctor. Takes her time. Listens. Answered all my questions. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr Simmons is great. She has a nice bedside manner. Is knowledgeable. Helped find my basal cell skin ca quickly. Highly recommend.

Dr Simmons is one of the nicest and thorough doctors I have seen. She even took time to call me at home to check to how I was doing with an issue I had seen her about. That really meant a lot me to for her to call instead of having her nurse call. I highly recommend her.
