Very competent and professional dermatologist who has good communications with her patients. Makes the patient really feel that Dr. Reina is interested in their condition and she works quickly and diligently to remove the problem. Mine was a skin cancer that required specialized mohs surgery. She did it expertly and thoroughly. Would recommend her to anyone.

My four year old had been to a local dermatologist in Baton Rouge, but his skin issues were not improving. We had tried several treatments without success. We were not fans of the chemical treatments that he was having with the local reactions it caused. Plus, the treatment was not working. I decided to make the hour drive to see Dr. Rachel Reina. Her staff was exceptional with the registration and nursing process. Dr. Reina talked to my son prior to the treatment. She removed the lesions with a local anesthetic that did not cause any harm to my son. I was surprised that my four year old did not cry or even whine about the procedure. I believe the calming effect that Dr. Reina instilled when she talked to him obviously helped. I am writing this review one month later and ecstatic to say the treatment has worked and my son's lesions have disappeared. To say that I am elated is an understatement. Several months of daily applications of medications and two chemical treatments that were not working was corrected with one procedure and daily oral medications per Dr. Reina's treatment plan. I truly believe in Dr Reina. She is wonderful. Awesome staff. Such a friendly doctor. I value her opinion. She is an great Mohs surgeon, I wouldn't let anyone else work on my face. She has a true talent. Negative reviews on a person who has spent 13years in school out way what someone maybe self diagnosing from the internet. The internet always gives you worse case. I would put my trust in a doctor not computer.

Went to Dr. Reina for a professional opinion and she did a simple biopsy on a rash. Come to find out, the biopsy was done improperly (taken from the wrong area that is not likely to result in a positive). Now I am left with a scar on my arm and a pathologist bill to pay. I will have to have another biopsy performed properly (which will leave another scar) to get an accurate result. Don't put your trust in Dr. Reina!

I was warned not to go to her for several reasons but I did anyway because she was the only person that could get me in the same day. Well that's usually a red flag isn't it? She is the only one in town with openings on her schedule. So I went in for a cash procedure and I paid IN FULL at the time of service. A few weeks later I get a bill for an additional $150? what? Cash in full at the time of service means just that !! This place is a total rip off and her procedures are sub par. Total office visit, basic visit was over $800? Seriously I was there 15 minutes. I tried to rectify this bill and they told me off. This place is a scam and a rip off. Don't go there !!
