Dr. R Michael Norris

Dr Norris and his nurses and staff are wonderful. They truly care about their patients and take great care of them for regular appointments and especially when you are in surgery. I just had hernia surgery a couple weeks ago and they still check on me to make sure I am doing well. These people are terrific.

Clinic visit and surgery experience were excellent. In addition, post-op followup by surgery center and doctor's office were very good. My surgery was a complete success and recovery time/post-op pain levels were much less than expected.

Dr. Norris did my gallbladder surgery. Very thorough, compassionate and professional. He did a great job and I was up and about with relatively little pain in 3 days. Highly recommend.

Excellent. I had to have my gallbladder removed during the pandemic. He carefully explained the findings, the surgery, and what to expect afterwards. If I need a general surgeon again, he’s top on my list.

Dr. Michael Norris is the most caring surgeon I have ever had. My son is a PA and both of us were impressed how much time he spent to explain my situation and my options. He called personally to my house three times to see how I was doing. I have Never had a Doctor take that much time and caring to see how I was and concerns for me. I would recommend this Doctor to anyone!! He was professional and courteous in every respect. I can't say enough about this Doctor. He has 5 stars in my option!!

Dr. Norris was the best! Compassionate and professional I had surgery during the Covid-19 virus outbreak with the added challenges put on both Dr. Norris and his staff they put my safety and comfort first and foremost. A truly great experience during a very difficult time in our world.

Dr. Norris is an awesome doctor. I needed breast surgery, which It very stressful. He calmed my fears, explaining everything in detail. The pathology report came back which showed noninvasive cancer. He was able to remove all of it with a clear margin. He was very reassuring that he had gotten all of it. No more surgery. He happily referred me to my choice of a oncologist.

Dr. Norris was a great surgeon. I have always heard surgeons might not have the best bedside manner but Dr. Norris was easy to understand and very patient when asked questions. And most importantly, my surgery went well. His nurse, Sarah was easy to reach when I needed to call and she was very kind and helpful.

Hernia repair brought me to Dr Norris. The entire process was very professional from initial consultation through surgery and follow-up. Everything went very smoothly and as planned. But mostly I want to compliment Dr Norris and the staff on their thorough and thoughtful follow-ups. I received phone calls each of three days following the surgery to confirm I had no complications or questions. I could not ask to be treated better. Thank you.

I had a previous inguinal hernia repaired by Dr. Norris 4 years ago, and I did not hesitate to ask for him again when I had a second inguinal hernia this summer. His work was accurate, his bedside manner is great, and I healed very quickly.

I has a great experience at Surgical Associates, PC and specifically with Dr. Norris and his staff. I was respected as an important part of their day and had all my concerns addressed.

I had conflicting procedure recommended from a MD and a procedure MD. I went to Dr. Norris for a evaluation. Dr. Norris answered my questions and explained to me what my choices were and why. I made my choice and followed his recommended procedure. It was the right one and all is well.

My experience pre and post surgery was very positive. Dr Norris explained the procedure thoroughly and called me personally after to explain pathology results and to inquire of my well being. At follow up for suture removal he reviewed the pathology results again and provided me a copy. Very caring and attentive.

I've had three similar procedures, so I was pretty certain I knew what to expect, what kind of pain I would be dealing with, and the healing process. But this experience was superior in every way. And painless! That's what surprised me the most. I found Dr. Norris and his staff to be highly professional in every way and am so grateful it was Dr. Norris who did this procedure for me. I'm still stunned that in the two weeks since surgery I have experienced no pain whatsoever.
