I am very happy with the care I receive at Sunnybrook Family Dental. Both Doctors are gentle , kind & explain procedures & potential problems thoroughly. Hygienist is thorough & personable. I highly recommend this office & staff.

It isn’t very often I show up for a cleaning knowing I haven’t properly taken care of my teeth but that was the case on Wednesday. There was absolutely no judgement, only kindness and compassion for the reasons my dental hygiene was lacking. Daria cleaned my teeth bright and shiny as always which gives me the motivation to get my home care back on track. Between Dr. Nguyen and Daria I truly no longer mind going to the dentist.

I was really pleased with the outcome of my recent visit to Sunnybrook Dental. I had been told I needed a crown at my former dentist and I was tempting fate by delaying the procedure. But I had maxed out my dental insurance so I put it off until the new year. When my husband tried Sunnybrook Family Dental and was very impressed with the care there, I decided to give them a try. Because of a brief window of double insurance, the timing was right to get that crown. Sunnybrook fit me in quickly and let me come in for the crown first, so we could maximize our coverage. After doing new x-rays and an exam, Dr. Wong found nothing wrong with my tooth and said a crown was not needed. Then they fit me in for my cleaning and x-rays so now I am good to go until August. I'm very glad we switched to Sunnybrook Family Dental. Everyone was very nice!

I absolutely love Sunnybrook Family Dental and Dr. Nguyen! I just needed an old crown replaced that had been done by another dentist, and the level of care provided by Dr. Nguyen was incredible! She explained every part of the process, and was so kind and gentle. She was also meticulous about getting everything perfect so I wouldn’t have issues. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen!

The office is very modern and warn. I hate cold office. The fireplace is good touch in waiting room. The person that worked on my cleaning was great. Friendly and knowledgeable.

I cannot say enough good things about Sunnybrook Dental or Dr Nguyen. I have been in their care for around 25 years. I love their welcoming approach and attitude and will never go anywhere else. Unfortunately they are so busy (because they are so great!) that everyone seems to be going there now! But Wendy is super diligent about getting you scheduled. Love them all!!

I went in today to have my crown put in after having an implant. I really appreciate Dr. Wong making sure I was comfortable and pain free. It was very soothing for me to have him talked me through the process. The office staff is friendly and welcoming. I'm not a fan of dental appointments but Dr. Wong and his entire staff sure knows how to put you at ease.

This is just the BEST dental office in Portland...perhaps in Washington, Oregon and California combined!!! From the reception to the check out....everyone is so very friendly and truly caring about patient comfort. BEFORE I found this dental office (as both Dr. Wong and Dr. Nguyen are fantastic), I would have to sit in my car, in the parking lot for a few minutes crying over the trauma. At Sunnybrook Family Dental, I have NEVER, EVER had that feeling, have never gone home in pain. Now when I have a 6 month check up, it is like visiting friends! They are an absolutely TOP NOTCH practice. Thank you Doctors Nguyen & Wong.

Dr. Nguyen is Simply the Best Dentist I've ever been too. She explains every step and takes great care to make sure I am ok throughout any procedure. I'm not the best patient when it comes to going to the Dentist but I have developed great confidence in her abilities and every single employee is kind, efficient and professional.

Dr. Nguyen is kind and a good listener. She made me feel comfortable and welcomed. My appointment went smoothly, and I did not have to wait very long. Highly recommend this office!

I first came to Dr. Nguyen and Sunnybrook Family Dental when my daughter had a sudden abscess that needed to be treated right away. They made quick work to fit us in and took care of my daughter. My whole family has been with them ever since and I always enjoy the friendly staff and quality service.

I was recommended to Sunnybrook dental by am employee of mine. I felt absolutely comfortable and I have always been nervous going to the dentist. Needed a suspension wisdom tooth pulled due to having periodontal it was quick and painless. This will definitely be my new dentist to get my teeth back to healthy teeth. This was only my 2nd visit to this dentist office, and I felt very well taken care of. The hygienist was very personable and gentle, but thorough. She even gave me information on some staining that I've had for YEARS that no one has ever told me, as well as some good recommendations. Dr. Nguyen is very kind and even remembered some of my personal details, which was very sweet. I'm so happy I've found this dental group, and so close to home!

I have been using this practice for the last several years. This practice is by far the best I have used over the years. I went in today for a small cavity and I was in and out with no issues.

I went in today for my first dental cleaning after covid. As usual Dr. Wong and his staff provided top notch service. The epitome of professionalism! Dr. Wong went over the xrays with me and told me what to be aware of. I can tell he truly cares about his patients oral health. Shout out to my hygienist, Jackie! She did a fantastic job in getting all the tartar off and leaving me with a fresh, clean mouth. She has the patience of a saint.

I really can't say enough about this dentistry. I have't really had any undesirable dentists during my adulthood, but I can't say they're all typical or alike either. I can say this particular dentistry is 100% a five-star rating. The entire staff is courteous, professional, competent and genuinely empathetic to your needs. Just last week, I needed a quasi-emergency prescription that the doctor evaluated herself over the phone with me and got me the medication I needed within the hour. Today, was my semi-annual cleaning and as usual...what an efficient, thorough and painless experience. I would recommend this dentistry to anyone and everyone... you won't be disappointed.

My routine cleaning and checkup was once again a fantastic experience from start to finish. TheI front office staff is super friendly. I love the reminders I get just before my appointment. They always recognize me when I walk in the door. Checking-in takes about 30 seconds and my appointments always start right on time. I had a new hygenist this time and like the rest of the team, she was very friendly, professional and thorough. The doctor consultation was pleasurable and informative once again, which I'm sure is assisted by the meticulous records they keep from my past visits. When I see them every 6 months it is like they just spoke with me yesterday. My next appointment was made while I was still in the chair so there was no waiting when it was time to leave. Awesome!

On Thursday, April 16th my tooth started hurting and by Saturday is was really bad. I wasn't sure if Sunnybrook Family Dental was even open before everything was shut down to stop the spread of COVID19. Even if it was open, I wasn't sure I wanted to be around other people...ugh I've been a patient at SFD for many years and I they've always demonstrated very hygienic procedures so I knew I could trust them. I almost cancelled my appt on Monday because it wasn't really hurting very badly any more but I kept the Tuesday appt anyway. Dr Wong, xrayed my tooth and compared it to my xrays of January when I had my teeth cleaned. He gave me some antibiotics which I took and my tooth is completely fine now with zero pain. Thanks for taking care of me during the pandemic.
