Dr. Prudence Lam

This was one of my doctors while I got care at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge MA. I was at a high risk for cancer and Dr. Lam ignored many troubling markers on my blood work that turned out to be cancer. I have since left her as a patient and no longer get treatment at Mount Auburn. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND DR. PRUDENCE LAM NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND MOUNT AUBURN HOSPITAL. If you have cancer then go to Boston and seek treatment at one of the worlds top cancer institutes. Don't put your care in the hands of the Oncology Department, Dr. Lam or Mount Auburn Hospital

I was a longtime patient in the Oncology Department at Mount Auburn and my care got handed off to Dr. Lam after another doctor left. I found her to be disengaged and not thorough at all. She ignored my blood work that had many red flags. I had to call her office several times to get answers about the flagged results and was dismissed entirely. Turns out those flagged items were due to cancer. There is more to my story but I would never recommend Dr. Prudence Lam nor would I recommend Mount Auburn Hospital. I ended up transferring my care to a Boston hospital that specializes in cancer treatment.
