New on medicare and found out my old primary care physician was not taking the advantage program I chose, so I had to choose another primary care doc. I land with Dr. Patel. When I came into the office, I was in the waiting room within 15 minutes, and the doc came into the waiting room within 5 minutes. This experience far outweighed my past doctors' office and waiting times. Dr. Patel spent time getting to know me as I was in for my annual physical. He even took a picture of me to help him remember me. He says it helps him remember his patients. Quite a personal touch for sure. All in all a great experience, and I look forward to his care for years to come.

I know someone that has been a patient for 11 years! age 44, started hvg stom pain and cont w/pain for 1 1/2 yrs. Dr. Patrish patel told this person, ur a hypochondriac, stop going to hospital on wknds! Patient moved diff state, here drs in 3 visits, 1 1/2 months found stage 4 colon cancer that has mastastisized to liver and lungs! Now 6 mnths after leaving Dr Patrish Patel, patients in hospital w/blockage in colon, severe pain dying right now! 6 mnths after leaving Dr Patrish Patel, leaving behind 3 kids, husband, 6 gkids, 8 siblings, mom, etc... Who love patient and wish Dr Patrish Patel wld hv listened and tested patient!! So be very careful w/this dr!!! I do not know where these negative reviews are coming from. It sounds like some of these patients are going to the wrong Doctor for their problems. My wife and I have been with Dr. Patel for over 12 years and have nothing but praise for Dr. Patel and his staff. They are kind, courteous and professional at all times.

DR. Patel is our family physician. I started going to him first. My wife started going to him after having a chronic condition that never seemed to improve under her prior doctor. After the first visit to Dr. Patel she was cured. He has a web site that shows my appointments, allows me to request refills for medication etc. He is very thorough and professional. I highly recommend him.

He was my mothers doctor as she went through Alzheimer's and Dementia. He was very gentle and understanding with her and was always available.

Wanted a new primary so I researched doctors in the area and liked what I found in Dr. Patel. I made a new patient appointment and they were able to get me in about 10 days later (which is fine). A few days later the office contacted me to confirm an appointment with Dr. Hannah for the following day. I called back about the mistake but they were on lunch. I didn’t contact them again and they didn’t contact me. So, the Friday before my Monday appointment the office called me to confirm my appointment with Dr. Patel for the coming Monday at 8:30am. They explained I should be there at 8am to fill out paperwork, even though they sent me the packet online to fill out so I didn’t have to do it the day of. I sent that in and still showed up at 8am. The office had one patient waiting in the office when I arrived yet I didn’t go back to see the doctor until 8:50. A few minutes later someone comes in explaining that I have an appointment with Dr. Hannah. After explaining I’m here for Dr. Patel they asked if I personally know him (as if it should matter) and then said they’ll check the schedule and see if he can “fit me in”, even though my appointment was at 8:30 with him and it is now 9. They said he can’t fit me in and offered Dr. Hannah, so I walked out. I can’t recommend seeing a doctor whose office has already made multiple mistakes in simply scheduling me with the correct doctor. On top of that, the women working the front desk seem miserable and the tone in their voice while speaking to you is off-putting. Dr Patel is professional, friendly and very thorough. It had been a long time since my mother saw a primary care doctor but it was evident that she needed to see one. Dr Patel made her feel very comfortable and explained everything to her and myself.

I work for Baywest Health and Rehab, we have mutual patients. They are always helpful with any of our needs. The patients always speak highly of the doctors and staff here!

I have been a patient at Sunmed since 2010 in Trinity, Fl. The care, response and assistants at Sunmed meet every need requested on a timely basis with pleasantry. Dr. Patel is very easy to communicate with about any questions He is all about preventive care medicine eve if it requires more tests, referrals diagnostic and treatment.

Im writing this for others looking for a Primary care Dr. To help You avoid the the trouble I had at this Drs office. Believe the other poor reviews you read on this Dr. He will delay/refuse your health needs or referrals and put his agenda first. It's Hard to believe a Dr would do this but after weeks of being "unavailable" or claiming "loss of paperwork" my insurance company had to step in to get my specialist approved without him on more than one occasion. Do yourself a favor and move on to another Dr. Avoid my nightmare he didn't give a thought to. Dr. P. Patella is being my primary physician for 3yrs. He's being an excellent doctor to me. He's very attentive, welcomes questions, answer them. Because of his guidance I was able to loose over 70 lbs. I'm very satisfied with his service. I hope he will be my doctor for many years to come.

I Love Dr. Patel. He has been my doctor for over ten years and he is a great doctor. He is a very Knowledgeable and caring doctor.

Outstanding, friendly, professional staff. Very, very helpful, thoughtful, kind, understanding. I was early for one of my appointments and did not have to wait at all. Very prompt, they don't make you wait.

I have a few medical conditions that require specialists. A spinal fusion, spinal stimulator and I had a quadruple bypass a year and a half ago. When I moved to Florida last year I needed a doctor and relied on the health care rep for a general practitioner. He recommended Dr. Patel. I have had several problems with his staff as well as the doctors care. I have several issues with appointment screw ups and just not getting back to me about referrals etc, not just days but weeks waiting. My concerns are many. I have had several appointments over the course of the year and half, no stethoscope has been put to my chest. I asked for a referral for a specialist for my back issues. I waited weeks, several calls etc, I went in for an appointment and I was scolded and told it takes time to find a dr in network( I already found someone thus my asking for ct scan referral). He gave me a name of a pain management dr. It was not what I was looking for but after being told to wait till open enrollment and get better insurance, I took it and left the office. I called that Drs office only to find out, they don't take my insurance. Very frustrating!!!! I feel as though my Health concerns weren't heard or met on many levels.
