Staff are very friendly and easy to work. Procedure was flowless and efficient. Went in and out in no time. Thanks for the great care. You can see the difference when someone truly cares for the patience. Will Recommend you any time.

Dr. Prasad cares about his patients. His staff was very helpful throughout surgery and follow up appointments.

Dr. Prasad Praveen is a very skilled surgeon. He really cares for his patient. When other Doctors wanted to wait until after the week end to due surgery, he was willing to operate on a Saturday morning and and his crew was top notch that assisted him in the operation. I have nothing but praise for the man.

Dr. Prasad has been my colon Dr. since 2001. I credit him to find a trouble areas and take care of them successfully when all others failed. He is more caring than most other Doctors and always takes time to answer questions and concerns.

Dr. Praveen Prasad was my surgeon for a recent emergency appendectomy. He was extremely professional and courteous and took the time to effectively explain my condition/treatment plan. Everything went very well and Shubi from his office was also very friendly, flexible and knowledgeable.

Dr. Prasad has been our surgeon for many years. Dr. Prasad is always professional and courteous, and does an excellent job of taking the extra time to go over the surgery, and treatment plan. Shubi and the rest of the staff does a great job of scheduling and getting information to us in a timely manner.

I recently had laparoscopic gall bladder surgery performed by Dr. Prasad. I was amazed that I did not have any pain when trying to stand or to sit. Within 4 days I was able to walk at my regular pace. I took Tylenol for pain but at 6 days I have stopped taking even that. Dr. Prasad performed emergency surgery on me in 2019 for a perforated bowel. He is a consummate professional and a wonderful human being, he saved my life and I will always be grateful.

This Office is extremely unorganized. They charged us for procedure that was fully covered by our insurance and one that we ended up not getting. We contacted them multiple times to get our $500 refund check and every time they would say they would call us back or they are still waiting on insurance to reply. Called my insurance to confirm we were not supoose to be charged and had them directly contact the office. Was finally told by the office that the refund would be in the mail by the end of the week, but its been months and still no refund. Called back to check and they say we still have a remaining balance for the procedure that we ended up not getting and was told that they would call us back when they’re slow computers would work and look into it again. Still trying to get this problem resolved. Disappointed by our experience. Would not recommend Dr. Prasad’s office. This Office is extremely unorganized. Each time I walked out the doors to this office, I regretted going in them. Not only did this "doctor" open the appointment room door before I was off the table and dressed, he kept it open and left without even looking at me or checking to see if I was still nude. This guy also made me go to a surgery center that he directly owns and gave me no notice that I could have had my operation done at a closer more affordable location not owned by him.. that's collusion. It's illegal in Iowa to do this. Very unprofessional; I trust doctors less single handily because of my interactions with Mr. Prasad. Awful! Dealt with infection for months. Dr. Prasad kept presribing the same antibiotic over and over. Told me to cut my incision open if I felt comfortable to release pressure. Finally had to go to emergency room after 2 months and found out it was staph infection and the antibiotic he gave me would never had worked. I had asked for a culture the second time I went in and he said it wasn't necessary. Hospital staff and another dr. Apologized for him and said I should have never had to endure that. Awful! Had Dr. Prasad perform a procedure while at Mercy West. He discharged me with an antibiotic that I had an allergic reaction to. Called his office to explain the situation and they wanted to talk with him before deciding what to do. After 3 hrs of nothing return phone call I called back and was told to just waiting for my follow up visit the next day. Showed up 20 minutes early for my appointment and still waited 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. Just to have him tell me I should see my normal physician about the reaction I was having. His place of practice seemed more of a back ally garage than a clinic. Very professional, didn't recommend surgery, gave me the positive side to not having it, showed empathy and phenomenal bedside manner. All of his staff exhibit kindness and patience, very friendly. I really appreciate that in a doctor's office.
