NP Kortni is top notch!! She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, heard and understood without rushing me through the appt. She was compassionate and thorough and made me extremely happy to be her patient. If i could give this awesome office 10 stars i would. All around great staff that made me feel like they really care about their pts. Thank you kindly NP Kortni and associates, y'all have restored my faith in the medical community.

Knowledgeable and thorough and expressed what he sees. Very friendly and thoughtful. Very good listener and happily wanting to find out what you are experiencing. I would recommend to every one. He took time with us, reiterated what I need to do and his follow up is so helpful.

Wonderful office all around. Caring respectful staff who go out of their way to accommodate patients. They bring back the old doctoring ideas of treating the whole patient for wellness, instead of treating individual items separately. They always give of their time abundantly, I've never felt rushed. Dr. Shukla is amazing. He listens to your actual symptoms, thoroughly evaluating you, before he jumps to any conclusions unlike many other doctors and has incredibly kind and positive mannerisms that make him easy to talk to, not only putting me at ease right away, but also made it easy for my husband to deal with health issues and be more open to going to the doctor once he had visited Dr. Shukla out of need. My husband is one to ignore symptoms because he has never been able to find someone he is comfortable with as a doctor enough to actually go however after visiting Dr. Shukla, he came home stating he understood why I liked him so much and no longer hesitates about contacting his doctor if he has a health worry.

This office has the rudest, most disrespectful receptionists, who will put you on hold for ten to twenty minutes. My appointment (that was schedule 2 weeks in advance) was canceled by the office with no phone call or notice (due to a “scheduling conflict” and was rescheduled for a time that I needed to be at work. When I had a medical question for the doctor regarding our appointment I was told “the doctor doesn’t have time to call patients” however they are still accepting new patients? Furthermore, A close family member of mine was addicted to pain medications without a diagnosis due to one of their former nurse practicioners. There is only one actual doctor at this office, the others are only nurse practitioners. When I arrived at my appointment the nurse practitioner told me “I don’t really know what I’m doing here so I’m gonna need to ask you a lot of questions”. Does not seem to care about patients due to his schedule being overbooked, only spends about 3-4 minutes in the exam room. He is nice but his entire staff is rude and do not seem to enjoy their jobs.

Have found Dr. shukla to be one of the best internal medicine doctors that I have ever bees treated by. He is intelligent and stays up to date with new med and treatments. Being a very nice guy adds to he positive experience of an appointment. I have been under dr. shukla's care for at least 5 years now and have nothing but positive things to say about him

This practice is more interested in making money than patient care. I always pay my copay. I recently received an invoice that indicated an additional amount due of $40. I went to the office to pay the balance and was told the balance is now $90. Further, even though I informed the office that I was quite ill and asked to see the doctor, was denied care. They referred me to a collections agency even though the invoice was less than 30 days old. Stay away from this money-grubbing practice!!!!!!!

I saw Dr. Shukla for a physical. He was smart, compassionate, and funny. If I still lived near Aberdeen, he would be my go-to doctor. I hold him in very high regard and would recommend him to any friend or family.

Dr Shukla does not disregard your concerns, he takes the time to listen to you & then he researches to get an answer/ solution for you. He has a great respect for his patients ~ just love him! His front office staff is an awesome group of ladies; they do an unbelievable job of multitasking and they always do it with a pleasant attitude even when the people they are dealing with are not so pleasant ~ please be kind to them, they deserve to be appreciated for all they do too!
