Dr. Prakash K. Bhatia

He seemed very smart, but only spent 10 minutes per patient. They had mostly good things to say in his office about him. I found him way too rushed to care about me. He just kept asking stupid questions about how I felt about hitting my head against the wall. He was a little bit creepy and I never went back.

We waited 1 month to speak with Mr bhatia and on the day of the appt they called to reschedule had us wait 2 more weeks. Then on the new appt Day, the phone rang thinking it was him and it was his asst calling to cancel our appt and to have us wait 3 more weeks. I mean, come on... Who the hell manages a Dr's schedule so poorly. We do not subordinate to your schedule. You should have at least called us personally to apologize for the cancelation. Lack of professionalism and we will never make an appointment with you. Had we cancelled on you like this, we would have been charged for cancellation fees.

He was very rude. Asked me questions regarding my mental health but refused to listen. Our entire visit he remained on his cell phone texting. Dismissed my comments and treated me beneath him. I was not always disabled like this and was able to work 40 hours a week from a job I went to college for, and it is frustrating seeing people in his position getting away with behavior like this.

Finally a Dr. who listens to his patients before prescribing. A gem in this profession. Very professional and considerate.

Dr Bhatia has met and exceeded my expectations! I am quite the outlier as a patient and he has worked with me on a personalized medication plan. I highly recommend Dr Bhatia if you are in the San Diego area!

I’ve been seeing Dr.Bhatia for about 4 years now and though sometimes the office is rough (front desk staff, or appointments running behind), he’s always been caring and insightful and has an easy going environment in his office. I’ve grown to have a good patient relationship with him. I’ve always had a very good experience.

Had 4 patients scheduled all with the same time slot. First visit in the morning and there were 4 patients there before he walked in at 9:28 with an office filled with 9:30 appointments? After being second seen, I offended him by asking him to get off of his phone and commence with the already late appointment. Insisting I leave my family member, with a no from myself and my family member he refused to maintain a patient relationship after 8 yrs of treatment

I take my disabled residents to see Bhatia and he is usually texting or otherwise using his phone when we visit. He is very dismissive of my concerns. He will bring in two at a time, listen to nothing, look only at his phone, then say everything’s great or there’s nothing to change. The pharmacy has a hard time getting authorizations from him. Very unprofessional.

The staff is kind of rude, I needed a pre authorization for a medication and they took forever to call the insurance for me and is a medication that I need bad in order to function !!

They never return phone calls to anyone, not the pharmacy not to you, not to other dr. offices. you can call 29 times and they will never call you back.
