My wife had the same nightmarish experience when she was seeing Dr. Gupta a couple of years ago. They were pushing treatments that we told him/them that we couldn't afford. They didn't care. They'd schedule treatments, then make her reschedule to come back for refills on pain meds (knowing she was out of meds and would suffer more for those 2-3 days waiting to come back)........ resulting in double billing for insurance. The insurance company also reported that all treatments scheduled were not being pre-approved. My wife and the insurance company started looking for another Doctor immediately and found someone she was very happy seeing. The staff is incredibly rude also. It's nothing but a medical money pit. I have been living with pain for six years after an open heart surgery to replace my mitral vale. Dr. Gupta was my third pain doctor. He really cares for his patients and does not give up.

One visit to Dr. Pragya B. Gupta MD was the worst experience ever. His favorite word is red flag. Doesn't listen. Tells You what your pain level is. Staff is rude and unprofessional. If You want to be made to feel like a drug addict or drug seeker go here. Absolute worst. The wait was horrible. I should have listened to my gut when I pulled up to a Dr.'s office in a strip mall and just left. Amanda, the self titled office manager is by far the RUDEST individual I have ever dealt with. Just now, I was fired as his patient because I could not afford a medication prescribed, which in their words, constituted not following Pragya B. Gupta's plan. It was not covered under my insurance and even using Good Rx it was over $300.00 for 4 patches. So basically. I was fired because I am on a fixed income and could not afford the medication that was part of HIS plan. A complete joke. I have filed a formal complaint with my insurance company. They underestimated the wrong human being this time. Intimidation and poor personnel skills will not fly with me. Dr Gupta is the BEST in the field of back pain remedy and correction!!

Dr Gupta is the best doctor I have ever seen. He cares about his patients well being, and his bed side manner is the tip of the top!! He has changed my life. He has made my life as normal as it can be with my back and leg issues!! I would recommend him to everyone!!! Great man, great doctor!!!! His staff is great as well, especially autumn!!! Thank you both!!!!

About what you'd expect from a pain clinic in a strip mall.

POOR COMMUNICATION, UNETHICAL /UNMORAL CHARACTER. LONG WAITS IN THE WAITING ROOM, STAFF DOES NOT REURN PHONE CALLS REGARDING QUESTIONS FOR THE MD, OFTEN NO RTURN CALL OR MANY DAYS LATER, POOR PATIENT FOLLOWUP, QUICK STAFF TURNOVER, ARNP OFTEN ACTS LIKE SHE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT SHE IS DOING!!!

They have gone through about 50 different people in past few yrs of my time being treated. Dr. Gupta very nice and caring , however he gets these bonehead people in there and everyone thinks their the chief. So sick of the games, and the tireless waiting. Now they have it after you see the nurse practitioner you have to call them for your meds. ITS A TOTAL JOKE, AND THEY NOW HAVE A COFFEE SHOP THEY HAVE EMPLOYEE'S WORKING ON THINGS FROM THE DR.'S OFFICE WHILE SELLING DR. GUPTA'S COFFEE. (PROBLEM WITH THAT IS) THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO RUN A LEMONADE STAND. SO SICK OF THE GAMES. DR. KLICKOVICH IS MUCH MORE PROFESSIONAL AND HE RECENTLY WENT INDEPENDENT, HE MAKES GUPTA'S OFFICE LOOK LIKE KIDDIE CAMP ,SERIOUSLY!! If you need injections he will make you his pin cushion also. Once you get the ball rolling, Dr. Gupta is very good at what he does. Recommended.

Dr Gupta seems to really care about his patients, he treats me with dignity and is very respectful and kind. He try’s to come up with new and inventive ways to help relieve my pain. I have been suffering with severe back pain along with leg and foot painful for many years, this doctor is one of the first doctors that makes me feel like he cares, I am a difficult case as I have several issues that cause me pain, he has continued to worked with me diligently to make my life pain free, I’m not there yet but Dr.Gupta uses different technology up-to-date research to try and figure out what works best for me, so I have to give him a thumbs up for his efforts and his knowledge related to pain . Dr. Gupta‘s nurse practitioner Brandy does a great job as well, she makes me feel that she cares about me and all my areas of concern. She goes the extra mile to try to help resolve my issues consulting with Dr. Gupta every step of the way, but I must say she is pretty smart too. I would have giving a five star rating but there are some issues that need work i.e the front office seems to need more staff I’ve had some issues With them getting back with the Pharmacy and a few other minor issues which I won’t go into right now Dr Gupta seems to really care about his patients, he treats me with dignity and is very respectful and kind. Dr Gupta and his entire staff are very professional and personal.

Dr Gupta has always taken good care of my lower back problems and always listened to my concerns. He has provided other options to allow me to function besides sugery or just pain meds. I must say the addition of a new personal trainer to help with strength training and streaching has just added another option and shows the forward thinking of his practice . Having the ability to have a one stop shop that cordnates the medical along with the physical conditioning has been a real plus. I have been suffering with lower back/SI joints for several years. Although my condition is not curable, Dr Gupta has greatly helped me with injections and meds. He is a very compassionate person and take great strides to educate you about your condition.

I have dealt with pain management due to cervical spine issues and lower back issues for 20 years. I've had many pain management specialist but by far the best doctor I've ever had is Dr. Gupta. He uses all the latest pain management techniques and technologies. I am very grateful to have been able to get off large amounts does medications and still have effective pain management. My life has improved dramatically and I will forever be grateful.

I went to Dr Gupta for years. Until he did me very WRONG! I was very sick and had to cancel 2 different appointments. He told me to leave on my next app. He got very mad. Just because i was so sick. I couldn't even drive. He did me WRONG! He was very unfair and mean about it. Now i have to live in severe pain everyday, because of him. No pain Dr will see me. I've been a patient of Dr. Gupta for 4 years. He has been consistent in my treatment plan. Mine has been a difficult situation to handle but, Dr. Gupta has never once given up on me. He is always searching for new ways to bring me relief from my pain. He went so far as to attend a conference in Paris, France to learn of any new techniques in treating my situation. My employment transferred me for a short time to NY, but I still traveled back to KY to see Dr. Gupta. I am very happy to have found a pain management dr. who to the time on my initial visit to eval the areas that affect me the most. I have had my first treatment recently looking forward to a happier future

I had to find a new doctor after mine retired I tried Dr. Gupta after several visits my pain has increased and I find out that he doesn't really accept my insurance he tried an epidural which did not get near the problem disk. He recommended several tests which I found out had never been ordered by his staff he may be a good doctor but with the staff he has I can't see how anyone can continue to see him.

If leaving no stars was an option that is what I would leave.

I am pleased with the docs treatments and he helps manage my Pain so I can continue work and my Life, however his office staff especially the front staff is Terrible to deal with. You can never get a call through when you do no one returns your calls. I can almost bet he has Lost several patients in the last 6 months due to this issue. My next visit I am asking him for his email so when I can't get a response I can email him.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Gupta. Having neck and back conditions for many years, I have encountered numerous doctors, specialists and therapies. Dr. Gupta is by far the most concerned, thorough, and supportive doctor I have encountered. He is much like a detective; as he will find the root cause of any condition and move forward with proven, effective procedures and/or therapies. He has always been honest and direct, this I appreciate beyond words.

Dr. Gupta is an amazing doctor, he takes the time listen to you. I would recommend him to anyone for injections he is one of the best! Mel is a great addition to the team and has helped me to resolve several insurance issues.

I have been a patient of Dr Gupta since 2004. Dr Gupta has performed many injections and continues to manage my pain as necessary so I can continue to work and live a satisfactory life in as little pain as possible. I highly recommend Dr Gupta to anyone whom is seeking to manage pain be treated with much dignity and respect during a pleasant visit every time.

We are switching to Dr Gupta because our Dr is retiring and the staff have been nothing but nice and helpful and accommodating. I look forward to getting to know them

My first time seeing Dr Gupta was a wait, but well worth it. For the first time in 25 years I have found a Dr that has helped my pain more than any other doctor I have seen. I am so thankful for his staff and the nurse.

This doctor has been amazing for me, he is up to date on new technology especially stem cell treatment, work amazing. Thank you to all his staff for making this easy for me

this office is pitiful my appointment time was at 930 I didn't get called back until 245 unbelievable . they said he was doing procedures .when it was time for my refill the lady on the phone told me I couldn't call I had to come in, I told her it would be a few days before I could get there because I lived over an hour away she then told me I was discharged for wasting her time . she said they don't have time for people like me WOW I was shocked.

Only interested in making money, over 2 hrs wait time even for just a prescription refill. Doesn't listen and bullies his patients... Terrible experience

Dr Gupta has been my dr for 3 years. He always treats me with kindness and works continually to solve my health issues. I will not go to any other dr for my condition. In fact I was transferred to NY for 5 months and drove back to him for that time for monthly visits. No dr knows me or tries to help as much as he does. He never makes me feel he is too busy for me. Thank you Dr Gupta for all that you for me as your patient!

Competent doctor, but he truly seems more interested in cramming in as many patients per day as possible. On average, I wait 2 to 2 1/2 hours past my appointment time to be seen. This should not be legal. He and his staff don't care. I'm about to bill him for the 20 - 24 hours of my wasted time in the past 12 months.

I have beenwith him for years and thoughthe was great. Then My disabity is changed to Humana and they wouldnt pay for alot of extras. I had a previous bill of 600 from before i was on disability. i paid $75 month toward it and $45 copay every month to get my meds filled. Then all the sudden they held my meds ransom for $327 which they knew i didnt have since i was on disability. Now i have no meds and he is doung something to my chart so other doctors wont see me. he is awful

Dr Gupta is wonderful. He takes his time with each patient for a proper diagnosis!

I would not recommend him to anyone ! After 6 years of monthly visits I finally reached my breaking point on 12/16/15. !045 appt called me back at 1133 am was given IV for procedure,IV ran dry blood backed up haltway to IV bag had to look for someone to fix it. At 145pm Im still waiting for injection and again I had to look for someone,had them remove IV and I left and I will never set foot in this mans office again ! This has gone on far too long !!!!!!!!!!!!!
