Dr. Pradeep is phenomenal! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with him. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my husband had the proper care he needed. He put us at ease by taking time to explain in detail my husband’s heart condition, gave insightful recommendations for next steps and even followed through on a referral to see a specialist. We highly recommend Dr. Pradeep, he is a tremendous blessing and a gift to Kinston, NC!

On my first I visit I sat and waited over 2 hours for Dr. Pradeep to come in the room to see me. Once he finally came in he rushed me, ignored my concerns and was done with me in less than 10 minutes. On my second visit he walked in the room after a 40 minute wait and ask me if I had any concerns. I began to share with him that the hospital and my other doctors were concerned about my elevated heart palpitations (his response was that, those issues weren’t a big concern to him), I also addressed that I had been extremely tired, lacking energy and just not feeling well (his response was you are too young to be tired and that I needed to get out and exercise and then he laughed), I re-informed him that I am currently undergoing chemotherapy and have a ton of health issues so I am limited, he then responds omg I am sorry totally forgot that you were my Cancer patient (so he clearly didn’t or doesn’t read my chart). To make a broad statement, I would not see anyone else.

Dr. Pradeep is not fit to treat or care for the elderly. The only reason I put a 1-star is because you can't post the review without putting a star rating. He does not deserve the respect to be called "doctor" at this point.  What doctor walks into the treatment room and does not speak to his patient and/or family accompanying the patient.  Your walls in the treatment rooms are very thin and conversations can be heard from the time you open the door to enter the room until the time you leave.  Each room that you entered on either side of the room next to the treatment room we were in, we could hear you when you entered the room and you spoke to your patient and even people in the hallway.   This is the second time my mother has come for an appointment to see him and he has PURPOSELY made us wait over an hour before he entered the room and did not speak or say I apologize for your wait or anything.  I do understand that he sees multiple patients during a visit, but to make us wait (when this has never been a issue before) is absurd and VERY CHILDISH!!  Take a few extra CE courses to help tone down your arrogance in the workplace and especially toward your patients.  The elderly that you treat may not see it, but the family members that care about their mothers, fathers and/or grandparents do care and expect to be treated kindly and respectfully when entering your facility.  I suggest you take a step back and examine the reason you decided to enter Medical School as a Cardiologist.  I'm sure you agreed to some kind of Code of Ethics that possibly included fundamental principles of  Patient-Doctor relationship, Integrity, and Professional behavior to name a few.  The family members are not your enemy, we are concerned sons, daughters, husbands, wives and etc. that sometimes question the process and reason(s) for recommended treatment for our loved ones.  If you feel as though you should not be questioned of your suggested treatment or medicines, then you truly need a reality check. By massive staff cuts, Vident has destroyed the operational competence of this office. Cannot EVER get a nurse on the phone, prescriptions not getting sent to the pharmacy, followup appointments getting dropped betwixt the cracks.. It's only a matter of time before some patient dies of incompetence.

I waited an hour and a half to see a physician's assistant who was rude and abrupt. The physician's assistant took about 5 minutes to tell me my test results were fine. I questioned why I had to pay a $92 co-pay, take time off of work, and sit in a waiting room for an hour and a half to be told nothing was wrong. I don't mind paying to discuss abnormalities and treatment options, but to be told everything is okay is a waste of time and money. Her response was they have so many patients . . .
