Dr. Prabhakar Pandey

I've had to fight for treatment. I was a hospital discharge and was informed I couldn't get an appointment for a month. It wasn't until I brought up calling my insurance as well as the hospital that I was then provided a sooner appointment. After my appointment, my prescription was not sent it in to my pharmacy. I spent 30 minutes on hold (after I put in a note via the portal to my provider) to follow up as I did receive a follow up call or message. I was cut off within minutes of speaking and the MA was unable to identify what the barrier was. As a new patient the care I am receiving is concerning. I would not recommend this practice to those that don't have the will to fight.

Very rude office and scheduling staff. I would give them ZERO stars if I could. Called in December to schedule to have a stone stone removed and I was told they had only one day available in January or I would be waiting for the next one two months and out in late February as the Dr would be out of country for a while starting at the end of January. Prior to the procedure the Dr promised me he would be able to remove my stint prior to his trip. Had the stone removed and then had issues with the prescription the dr sent for pain meds. Tried for three days to get someone to answer the office phones to get the RX issue squared away. Finally had to call the surgical specialist as she is the only person there that answers the phone. Day 4 RX still doesn’t get taken care of with Dr. I finally get someone in the office to answer the phone and they schedule my stint removal they also told me Dr resolved insurance issue. I call the pharmacy and it never never got resolved so I paid for it out of pocket. I get a call Monday telling me the Dr has to cancel my stint removal and it can only be done at the end of February almost 6 weeks from now. I told them that was unacceptable and I needed them to figure something out. The entire time the person on the other end kept trying to talk over me and would try provide her response before I could even finish the question I was asking. At no time did she try to solve the patients needs or concerns all she cared about was getting me a new date that was open and easy for her to reschedule versus finding an acceptable solution. She said Katie the office manager would be contacting me. 5 days later and still no follow up from the office manager. I did get a call from their billing specialists that was following up to see how I wanted to pay for my remaining balance from my prior visit and my estimated responsibility for the stint removal. I was a bit shocked as I couldn’t get my RX issue taken care of, my procedure rescheduled, or a call from the office manager but they have the staff to call to take payment prior to my visit. They are finally able to fry me rescheduled for the same day as my original appointment it was just at a later time. Then they still require you to be masked and are very rude and aggressive about. It seems to be a receptionist on a power trip versus due to safety since the entire staff walks around in the back room once you get behind reception without a mask on. I talked to the Dr about it and he took no ownership and blamed it on the office staff stating he had no control over them he is just a Dr that works there. Bottom line is this is the last place I would recommend to someone. The office staff at this place is extremely rude and incompetent. In looking at the prior reviews this seems to be a common theme.

I was at my appointment at 1:00 for my 1:15 procedure! I sat in the waiting area until 1:55 before I finally got taken back to room! I then prepared for my procedure and waited another 20 more minutes for the doctor and a five minute procedure! To be fair most of my wait was the girl at the check in office window! I was the fifth person to walk in after they opened up from lunch and after putting my name on the list I took a seat to wait for check in! It was 10 minutes before the first person was finally called up to be checked in. As I was number five it was 1:45 before I was finally called up to window to be checked in! I told them at 1:00 that I had a 1:15 procedure! It obviously didn’t matter! Worse, several people came in to the offices 20 to 30 minutes after I got there and were called back up and checked in and taken back before several of us who were there at 1:00 even got checked in!!

My husband had surgery, and the "doctor" never called to let me know how the surgery went, although the surgical nurse assured me he would. At my husband's follow up appointment, we got at the office at 8:00 (his appointment was at 8:30). We had just flown in recently, and our masks were in the laundry. His office charges for the use of their masks! $2.00 per mask, and they only had one left, so I sat in the car. While sitting in the car, guess who walks right in front of my car at 8:30? Dr. Problematic Pandy. Then, they took a patient who came in after my husband. Stay away. There have to be more appreciative, prepared, and selfless doctors out there.

I am very Pleased to have Dr Pandey For my Dr The Nurses & Staff are very Helpful & they take the time to answer all my questions &concerns.

Dr.Pandey goes over all test results in detail, explains options, and gives you the opportunity to ask questions. He cares about his patients, you are not just a name filling in a time slot.

Always Listens to what I’m saying and offers advice I trust him

Front office was ok. They spoke fast and seemed to be impatient. Medical assistant was very friendly. Dr Pandey was also very friendly. The only thing that bothered me is that I waited a whole hour for a 5-minute exam.

Very professional for an uncomfortable subject.

All of the staff members from front office staff to nurses, PA, NP, and physician were helpful and knowledgeable at their respective positions. I would recommend this Physician and staff for people whom need this type of care.

I am grateful for Dr. Pandey, NPs and team that assisted during a recent surgery in October 2021. Knowing the Nurse Practioners were making sure the nurses at Abrazo Hospital were taking care of me I felt comfortable in their hands. Sometimes he can interrupt you while you are speaking, and this can come across as being curt, but on the whole he is a very good doctor. Dr. Pandey performed my circumcision due to frequent occurrences of balanitis following antibiotics. That was five years ago. Five years later, I am currently seeing him again for an enlarged prostate. I was seeing another Urologist at the East Valley Urology Center, but became frustrated with the lack of empathy with the young female staff at that location. I'm glad I switched to Arizona Urology.

Dr. Pandey was generous with his time explaining my test results and options very clearly and step by step so I could understand the complexity of what he was explaining.

The two technicians who performed my tests are the best in the west! Both of them kept me informed along the way about all the different procedures they were going to do. Thanks to them, I am very happy and they give a good reputation to your medical group. BRAVO! P.S.: I wish I remembered their names but I am sure you can find out from my records.

Went in for vasectomy consultation and my wait time was short, front desk was friendly and helpful, and the NP was informative. I went with AZ urology because another office was unprofessional, chaotic, and prideful. AZ Urology was a way better experience and I could actually get follow up from the office. They wanted to know how they did. The other office never returned my 4 calls in a span of 2 weeks. What if I had a complication from the procedure and they behaved the same way? On the other hand, AZ Urology was attentive. I appreciate that.

As always, Dr and staff are courteous and caring. They ensure that the patient comes first!

Dr Pandey was open to all my questions and listened with purpose. He explained I would need several tests and staff walked me thru what each required.

My initial visit was with a nurse practitioner. I then saw the doctor (Pandey ) for roughly 2 minutes to let me know he would djj on the circoncision. And someone would call me to set the appointment. The NP explain the surgery and the bandages they would apply ( she called it a Mummy. Because it would be all rapt up) The day of the surgery the doctor was 35 minutes late ( I was his first surgery of the day) and without hello while rummaging thru paper work he asked if I had any questions. I had 2 simple one. Both questions were answered by “ with someone your age and your condition I cannot answer that question” I know my age but still wonder what my condition is. I was never given any information for the after care. I had 1 visit after the 1st week never saw the doctor. The NP had no idea what to tell me to do. I had to google my care for the after surgery. This person must have been the last one of this class. The one they still call Doctor but has no clue what to do.

Impatient, rude, condescending, unprofessional. I had a terrible experience with this doctor after having a small procedure done. He did not take the time to explain any results with me and when I asked questions he quickly became very frustrated. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a provider - I will be seeking a new urologist.

I like him he makes you feel at ease and has great bed side manor.

His assistant was very kind and tried making me comfortable because I was nervous before a procedure wish I knew his name so I could write it. And the doctor was pretty thorough and informative.

All as expected. All procedures fine.

I have been a patient of Dr. Landry's for a few years. He has taken care of my kidney stones. I have always been in good hands.

Very pleased with quality of service and competent Care by Dr. Pandey Ron Crates

I’m very happy with the procedure and how I was in and out and how every thing was pretty private and very respectful towards the severity of the subject of circumcision and toward me. I feel a lot better that I was able to get this procedure done and that it was something that will better myself I highly recommend it.

I am leaving this review on behalf of my mother who had a procedure by Dr. Pandey. He was very professional and attentive to detail. I appreciated that he took the time to listen to my concerns and the feedback I had. All interactions that I or my family had with him were positive and helped us feel at ease about the procedure.

I had a televisit a couple weeks ago and we were having technical difficulties, but Dr. Pandey was still thorough in what he recommended and took the time to repeat if the connection was choppy. I saw this doctor in office today, I thought he was very professional and thorough while doing my cystoscopy. He explained step by step what he was doing and came into the room laughing and smiling. It was a great experience.

During this COVID era, visiting Dr. Pandey was quick and easy. In office procedure was completed with minimal wait time and Dr. Pandey described every step of the procedure.

Dr. Pandey was really great with both my surgeries and my in office stent removal. He was very kind and also funny! His staff has been very helpful throughout the entire process.

My husband had the worst experience with this Doctor. He never take the time to explain before or after surgery. He is very unprofessional, no ethics whatsoever. Scheduled for removed catéter he was not even present for any doubts or questions. Totally not recommend him at all.
