Dr. Chen is a brilliant doctor. In my annual appointment, she patiently listened to my recent diagnosis of an extremely rare condition. I cannot say enough good things about the medical expertise she provides and her innate ability to pull all pieces of my medical puzzle together.
Dr. Chen has been my nephrologist since the spring of 2012 when I was admitted to Northwest Hospital. She was instrumental in determining what was exactly my medical issue. She worked well with the team that helped me return to better health. She has always been congenial and willing to listen to my questions and concerns and take the time to explain things to me. I am still under her care and I look forward to meeting with her for follow up appointments. She is a very caring doctor and is interested in me as a total person - not just another patient number.
Dr. Ping-Hsin Chen is an excellent Nephrologist! I have been a patient of Dr. Chen's for years and she is a very kind and considerate doctor. She listens to your concerns, thoroughly reviews your lab work, and comes up with a plan of action that she ensures makes sense to you. She will keep your other providers informed for a holistic and complete approach to your care, and since becoming a patient of Dr. Chen's, I feel like I have been actively participating in my well-being, and it's really due to her being solution-focused that has empowered me to do better. She really cares and it shows!

Dr. Chen has been my brother's nephrologist for close to ten years. He has kidney failure and is on dialysis. She is an excellent physician and has gone way beyond what would be expected in her care of him.
