Root canal went great. I am so glad I found Dr. Head. He is great no wasted time just down to work. In and out 2 hours and home. I could not be happier.

This has been the best visit I’ve ever had as far as any medical setting. Dr.Head was so polite and he explains the procedure to where you can actually understand what’s going on. I have way more clarity on teeth in general from this visit. Also I felt amazing the entire time.I love that I was still well aware of everything that was going on but felt no pain at all. His assistant was amazing support and made me feel very comfortable through the entire experience. I was constantly asked if I needed anything and everyone that works there makes you feel welcomed. They go over pricing and explain everything very well. If I ever needed another root canal this is where I would go. I usually don’t write reviews but if you’re looking for a place to go.. stop looking and just come here. You’ll love it!

Several issues go into the 1 star rating for Dr. Head. During the initial consultation he failed to listen to my knowledge of root canal treatments and recited his monologue that I heard in the adjoining room for another patient. I returned to the office a few weeks later and had the retreatment. I was given a prescription for antibiotics, had it filled, and began taking them. I was told to rinse with warm salt water as often as possible and began that regiment. Several days later, I developed an excruciating pain that wasn't controlled by ibuprofen or tylenol. I called his office and asked for pain medication. I was in the worst pain of my life. It was hard for me to take a breath without crying uncontrollably. I spoke with Dr. Head a few times that day. He told me to just swish warm salty water until the pain went away. He refused to provide any pain medication and instead called in another antibiotic. I understand that it was pain from an infection but needed something in the meantime until the other antibiotic got in my system. I called my general dentist, who was the one who originally advised me that I needed a root canal retreatment and referred me to Dr. Head. My dentist was able to work me into his schedule that afternoon. He was able to see the amount of pain I was in, because I had tears running down my face. He gave me 4 injections of lidocaine to numb my entire mouth and face. I was able to breathe normally and discuss my frustrations with Dr. Head. I learned that Dr. Head has a personal issue with pain medication, as a close family member was an addict and lost their life due to their addiction. I recommend never going to a provider who cannot set aside their own issues with medication, and assess each patient's individual needs. Several issues go into the 1 star rating for Dr. Head. Was referred to Dr. Head and his team for a root canal. Just got it done and it went better than I thought. I left with no pain and was able to go right back to work. Thank Dr. Head and your team

Dr. Head and his team were fantastic! I had a trauma situation and they were all very caring! They made sure to inform me of everything they were doing, took time to genuinely listen, made sure I was comfortable, and helped so much with insurance. I highly recommend them!

My husband just came out of Dr Heads office grateful and relieved. He was anxious going in but came out singing their praises on the great of care the doctor and staff showed him. He said it was definitely worth the hour we drove to get here. Dr Head also did our 16 year old daughters tooth this year and has had no problems with it since. Highly recommend. I had 2 root canals done here, 1 in 2013 and another in 2017. I've had no problems at all. I will go to him again in the future if needed.

Dr. Head does his spiel about what to expect, and what could go wrong, I don't know about you, but it's nice to be informed. After that, they got to it, the Novocaine did its job and there was no pain whatsoever. They did their work with the smoothness an efficiency of a team that has done thousands of these procedures. Post op I had no pain and it was almost like it never happened. If you are going to have to have a root canal, this is the place to go. They scheduled my root canal during their lunch hour, I had to wait 30 minutes in the chair for them to return from lunch to get treatment. How un-professional!! I never returned.

Gave me a 15 minute speech like a robot instead of talking to me like a patient that is paying for his service. This is my daughters 2nd root canal and I didn't need the boring useless speech. Should have just talked to me about my daughters specific issue, cause he didnt even stop to take a breath much less leave space for questions. Basically told me up front that he can't do half the job the last endodontist did. Too bad we moved 10 hrs away from the last endodontist that did her first root canal. Lastly I don't trust anyone that needs me to wait in the waiting room instead of being with my daughter there was plenty of space in that room for me to stay with her, like I always do, and like she wanted me to. Dr. Head and his assistant could not have been better. His assistant was kind and comforting during the two hour procedure.. She was as knowledgeable as he. They told me every step they were taking before it happened. I was extremely pleased.
