I had an appointment with Dr. Essay and was very pleased with his bedside manner and information he gave me about HFX Stimulation System. I have dealt with chronic pain for 30 years and have some hope that I could be pain free at some point. I would highly recommend Dr. Essay to anyone dealing with chronic pain.

Dr. Essay is so caring and wants to do everything he can to relieve chronic pain. I have benefited tremendously from his care!

Dr. Essay and his P.A. Kelsey really listen and care about helping you. Kelsey remembered me after six years. I went back after my chronic condition became unbearable again. They were quick to recognize this is a continuation of the same problem and I have a procedure scheduled for treatment just one week after my office appointment. I really like these guys.

Went in for arthritic back pain, had the radiofrequency ablation done. Few weeks after that I had a 5 day stay in the hospital for severe lower back pain, buttocks, thigh, and groin. Doing my homework, he caused the problem that was suppose to fix it. I can barely walk, sit or even sleep. If your thinking of getting radiofrequency ablation done, DONT IT COMPLETE BULLSHIT and only made things severely worse!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Essay listened to me, asked questions, gave me information I needed and was a true partner in my healing process. Outstanding experience!

Was attentive and explained implant before having surgery, after the surgery he no longer came to my appointments only his PA. I'm still in pain, and have changed doctors.

Staff was very nice Dr. Essay was hopefull the hf10 would work. When he put it in I felt everything I said the meds wasn't working. He did nothing. The trial did not work for me. The Nevro reps where great. When I got done with the trial and went to get the leads pulled. I said as he was taking out the leads that I was hoping it worked. He said it's not for everyone. Then he went to the door, I said is there anything else we could do. He said no and left. I was very upset. Nurse did have some suggestions. I would never go back to him. Dr. Essay is an outstanding physician. He has given me my life back. He goes well out of his way to help me live a full and productive life. I can't speak highly enough of him.

I am very pleased with the individualized care I am receiving. Dr. Essay is direct when speaking with me and always very professional. The PA's, nurses, and staff is always welcoming and professional as well.

He did not want to consider any pain medication. Shots, and seeing a psychological is all he would consider.

Scheduling is mixed (eastern-most station is helpful; others were rude/snippy/confusing). Expect only minutes with him (if he seems to be stepping out to order an MRI, he's really leaving). The poor nurse got hit w/my questions. She must have at least asked him about a back brace, because she came back saying: "He says you can have one." What does that mean? If it would help me, why didn't he bring it up when with me? I find it ironic that the bill says "patient education".

Dr.Essay and his staff are fabulous. They were kind and made sure all of my questions were answered. They explained things as they did the procedure. They took the time after the procedure to review my home care. The seemed genuinely interested in my care. The really seem to want help alleviate as much pain as they can!

Dr Essay is very compassionate man as far as pain is concerned. He always has options and keeps an open fair mind.
