Mr. Phillip A Dean

Since my Crohn's diagnosis, Dr. Dean has been more helpful than anyone else on the team of doctors I've seen. I dealt with some side effects of Crohn's and needed surgery. He explained my condition, what caused my issue, made sure every question my wife and I had was answered, and was extremely helpful and thorough in my recovery. He is very kind, attentive, and seems to care very much. I couldn't recommend him more.

Pre-op was great. Excellent bedside manner, showed concern and patience while we went through my questions. As far as I know, he is an excellent surgeon. No issues there. But, after the procedure, I took the meds as he described and ended up in the ER. I’ve had 12 blood clots in my lungs on two different occasions and the pain after the hemorrhoid surgery was worse. He didn’t return my calls but simply put in the notes for other doctors to read that the surgery he performed did not require more medication than what he prescribed. That was one 5 mg hydrocodone every six hours. Clearly, Dr Dean wants nothing to do with your post surgery care.
