Philip Lee Shettle

Absolutely never on time. I like his medical knowledge and skills, but having to wait and wait every time I see him gets very irritating. He is pleasant and personable, which is why I have been his patient for years. But his poor time management has me looking for a different provider.

Always makes my appointment with Dr. Shettle an easy and informative visit regarding the health of my eyes and my vision testing. I have been seeing him for many years now and he performed cataract surgeries on both eyes that turned out just perfect. I would highly recommend and did to anyone looking for a great ophthalmologist.

Dr Shettle is a very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate physician. I had been suffering with very severe dry eye syndrome for 14 years and at the very first visit, he recommended an eye ointment that turned out to be a miracle cure for me. I am so grateful to Dr. Shettle for his excellent care and expert advice. His office is ran very efficiently and his staff is wonderful and very caring as well. I highly recommend Dr. Shettle.

Excellent, Professional, and very nice people. My Cataract surgery went without any problems ,or pain. I can see 20/2o now. So clear. I only needed surgery on one eye, but when i need the other one done I'm going back to Dr. Shettle and the nice people at his office. Largo medical was a great place to have the work done. They are very cool and nice people also...

This is by far the best experience that I have had with an optometrist visit in many years. The entire staff was professional and personal. The office and waiting area was pleasant and had a very professional appearance. Dr. Shettle was very thorough in his exam and informative regarding my vision issues. He was also very down to earth and personal. Thanks to everyone there for making this a pleasant visit.

Dr. Shettle and his staff, are the greatest and they genially care about their patients, they always have a kind word ,comforting their patients, the Best in the state of Florida I LOVE them !!! I recommend them Highly!!!!

I want to say I am TOTALLY HAPPY with Dr. Shettle, I was very nervous when I first learned I needed eye surgery and Dr. Shettle and his staff were the best. I cannot say enough about Dr. Shettle, he took total care of my eye problem from start to finish with out a single problem. Dr. Shettle, explained every detail of my surgery and after care exactly to a tee. I would recommend Dr. Shettle to anyone who needs eye care for any reason. Again, I am TOTALLY HAPPY with my eye care from Dr. Shettle.

Recent office visits and cataract surgery. Extremely impressed with Dr Shettle, Freda, Keith & George, Renee. The expertise, professionalism, team work, & very thorough and caring approach. Dr Lee Shettle is very thorough, follows up is kind and considerate. We travelled 1400 miles to have treatment done here.The quality is tops in this area.

The whole staff was wonderful. Dr. Shettle was very friendly and had a warm manner. Loved the whole experience would defiantly recommend if your new to the area or are looking for a private Ophthalmologist.

I was very impressed with the service and treatment that I received from Dr. Shettle. He went beyond just treating me for my 'issue'. He took the time to explain everything to me with recommendations for future treatment both here and when I return to Canada. His staff are very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure meeting them all.

This office and Doctor are the best. I recently became very sick were I was experiencing double vision with spinning. It became very difficult to see and walk. Along with being very nauseous. I called Dr. Shettle's office and they told me to come in right away. They got me in to be seen and sent me for the other tests that I needed that afternoon. They also helped me get into appointments with specialist that I needed throughout my illness. I am truly grateful for their help and kindness, that Dr Shettle and his staff provided.

I took care of his surgical eye patients at the hospital. I took care of his ill family members at the hosptial.I have had excellent eye exams by him and his sons and bought glasses from the family store.My last visit was when the office staff yelled out in the waiting room that I did not have insurance and would have to pay out of pocket for everything or leave. i questioned the statement and left. Later that week ,telephone voice messages confirmed the insurance and wanted another appointment. I had already gone elsewhere.
