Dr. Newman cares about his patients understanding what is happening with their eyesight; therefore, after examining your eyes thoroughly, he explains in precise detail what is happening, or has happened, to your vision.

I went to him for a exam and to discuss cataracts surgery he was the most un caring Dr I had ever been to. His office staff was very nice, that is the only thing good there. Never Ever would I recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Newman has a calming tone to his voice that relaxed my anxiety about the condition of my eyes, learning that I needed surgery to remove cataracts. I had no concerns about him performing the surgery.

First time patient to this Dr. referred to him by my regular eye Dr to see if needed cataract surgery. The whole staff was very friendly and attentive. All questions were answered without being rushed. I was very comfortable with the whole staff and thinking very seriously about switching to this Dr. nothing wrong with my other Dr. and no complaints but this Dr reminded me of my 1st Dr of over 30 yrs and who I trusted without doubts. I would recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Newman since 2006. He is patient and professional and his staff is also. I highly recommend him. I have only had to purchase new glasses once since my cataract surgery in 2006. What more could you ask for?

I've been a patient for years. I'm not sure what's occurred, but his staff is hostile and rude - - I've never experienced anything like it. Aggressive, cold and hostile. On my last scheduled visit, my walt was over 2 hours. I was taken to an exam room and then waited 45 more minutes as I heard the doctor seeing other patients and talking in the hall. I finally saw the doctor for about 5 minutes. The entire time spent in the office was 3 and a half hours. I'm quite disappointed because I've been a longtime patient and Dr. Newman has been professional and kind. It's just his staff (reception and the optical department) leave a bad impression and don't make for a pleasant experience.

Dr. Newman has a wonderful ease about his personality that radiates to the entire staff. They are competent, articulate, and a one stop shop for eye care. Our entire family have been patients for 19 years. Top notch group.
