Great service and great care! Awesome staff!

Was rude to me from the minute he walked in the door. I was there with my Mom because she was referred to him for some issues she was having. He told me to google my Mom's diagnosis. Very rude and condescending. I also witnessed how rude he is to his own staff. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Horrible. He wrote an illegible prescription and couldn't take the time to put in the hospital computer so we have been waiting for over 5 hours to fill the prescription. He hasn't bothered to return calls from the patient or pharmacy. Just do your job!

Had my procedure with Dr. Nagel today and I wanted to say that the entire staff was very comforting. They made the stressful experience quite bearable. Dan Shea in FRG - June 21, 2019

Had colonoscopy #2 from Dr. Nagle and GI Partners. Process went smoothly from check-in to completion. All staff congenial and informative regarding any questions asked. Will return when next needed.

Dr Nagel has done my last two colonoscopies and is very thorough with the procedure. The staff and the facility at Lake Barrington are great to work with. Would highly recommend this group for this procedure. John-Oakwood Hills, Il 4/8/2019

Save yourself stress, time Very uncaring Should not be a doctor

Clear, concise, and direct. Dr. Nagel is exactly what I would expect. My husband had a colonoscopy yesterday which rendered a cancer. You're never prepared to hear this. His staff, two nurses in particular, were incredibly helpful and positive. Angels. I would recommend this doctor and his practice to family and friends.

If I could give a "no star" I would. I literally left his office and cried in my car. He did not care what I had to say or what my symptoms were. He also had such a stern voice towards me because I could not give him an exact number on one of my symptoms. He is the rudest doctor I have ever met. He literally laughed when I said I was trying to lose weight. If you want a doctor to listen to you he is not the one you are looking for. My appointment lasted no more than five minutes! What a joke.

Dr. Nagel and all of his support staff were incredibly caring and professional. Very informative regarding my colonoscopy today. They seemed to be a well oiled machine while also taking time to put me at ease.

From Dr. Nagel to RN Moira, the staff at G.I. Partners of Illinois were very professional, informative and personable people. Had my first colonoscopy ever. They found and removed a polyp that could have become something serious. Very happy with my treatment and outcome. The staff are clearly trained in cross-checking and question redundancy in order to prevent errors of commission/omission. First rate and thank you!

Dr. Nagel was very reassuring and straight to the point. I can tell he has a career full of experiences. He isn't warm and fuzzy but is most definitely confident and knowledgable which is more important when in need of a specialist. I have already referred him to friends who feel the same. I hope he never retires. His assistant was so professional and accommodating - a real pleasure to work with.

Think Dr. Nagel is a special talented doctor..do you want a smile or answers from a doctor?.dont know what I will do when he retires? Thank God for him.

Dr. Nagel has diagnosed me when others couldn't. I read other reviews and I think Dr. Nagel may lack the warm and fuzzy however he is an incredible diagnostic doctor. I have been seeing him for 25 plus years and once you get to know him he is really engaging. Hospital visits are not the best place to judge personallities. It the health outcome that matters.

Tried for almost three weeks to contact for an appointment with Dr.Nagel. Had proper referral from my physician, left messages with Nagel's app't. office. My physician even re-called to find out why they weren't taking care of this and was told they would call me immediately. That was 4 days ago..and still no contact. I had never had any previous contact with Dr. Nagel or his associated group, so it wasn't like I hadn't paid them or missed scheduled appointments. I've now asked my own dr. to give me a referral to another dr. or group. Very unprofessional!! Don't even bother to try and get an appointment with this bunch.

From the first second he came in the room I felt like he could care less about me. He was rude, made faces at my answers to his questions and made me feel stupid. I was almost to the point of tears because it seemed like he didn't think my symptoms warranted a visit with him. I learned more from a packet of paper given to me at the end then I did meeting with him. He didn't explain one thing to me about my condition. Thank God for the Internet,I guess. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HIM.

Gone to him many years extremely satisfied with professionalism and care follow up.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nagel's for many years. I need colonoscopies every 3 years and he has helped me every time. I would not go to another doctor. I happen to believe that it is more important that a doctor knows what he is doing rather than how friendly he is. I have complete confidence in Dr. Nagel so much that when my daughter needed to see a doctor for a colonoscopy I recommended him.

Excellent. Procedure quick and easy. Nurses at Good Shepherd hospital were very caring. Just had to wait a little longer then expected.

Not only no bedside manner, he is rude and would rather get his information from the computer screen than to make eye contact with the patient. I've met with him while I was hospitalized and in his office - both experiences were awful!

Rude and arrogant waited 1 hour after my scheduled appointment for him to come in room 5 min consult- I told him I could not eat anything and had lost 70lbs in 5 months- he asked me if I had any women's problems and his diagnosis was any further tests would be over the top- not even a blood test- awful man
