Dr. Lukoff is not interested in helping patients with immediate foot pain he is only interested in selling expensive orthotics. He suggested a cortisone shot to help the healing process but when I declined the expensive orthotics he said he would not recommend a cortisone shot and actually walked out of the exam room.

This was written by my mother, verbatim: "Dr.Lukoff made home visit to my mom on September 6 of this year. My mom is 84 years old, lives alone and barely walking. I made this appointment for her because she doesn't speak any English. Dr. Lukoff took care of her feet and probably accidentally cut her toe, put a bandage on the cut and left. Next day my mom complains on the pain and swеlling. I called to Dr. Lukoff and left a message with his secretary. He did not call me back. I called few more time and left messages. Eventually he picked up the phone.I let him know that my mom is in pain and he answer was "oh, go there , look at the wound and call me again". During all this time mom was getting help from her aids as much as they know what they were doing. I called him again a week later and asked him to go and check what he has done. He took the phone number and disappeared.Tomorrow is exactly one month since his first visit yo my mom. Her cut got infected, she is in pain and facing a surgery now. I'm not mentioning that at her condition she should take a walk every single day, she can't walk for a month already. Dr. Lukoff never came to fix his mistake.
